Putting some advice to the test Belonged to a bike club where one guy was a psychiatric nurse when his 'patiants' seemed to be ranting that they hadn't got stuff/done well in life he used to advise them to cherish what they had got as it would make them happier with their lot anyway.... Got offerred a Fazer recently by a friend and it has been a great temptation but then nothing wrong with what I have really The Fazer is a good looking machine and its got the performance though, I had a go, smashing bike and it felt good too! but I know I can't really afford it, so... I've been cleaning up one of my bikes, and you know what, i do f…

That's me alright - how many days do we actually get when you are not at work and free to go out for a ride when the weather is good? Photo of a day out last year - Don't like greasy roads, being blinded at night by these new fanged ultra bright lights that they are putting on cars, getting soaked, getting frozen - yes sometimes unavoidable but.... wish we could grab some decent weather

MEGA PISSED OFF Well what a night, me and the wife sat on the sofa watching you been framed, bag of Doritos in hand and a glass of whiskey, Nikkita my daughter in bed soundo in the room above. Next minute a all mighty bang comes from the wall by the tv. A chap has tried to swing his cage around in the road, lost control n crashed through my fence stopping inches from my living room wall, and right where my shed was going to be built tomorrow. He is only a provisional license holder with no L plates etc therefore no insurance. I had to chase him up the road (me on foot him in the car) stopped him and had a few words but managed to keep calm with no love bumps ex…

Well boys, happy Father's Day to all of you - either as fathers or sons - or those remembering loved ones. All a complete con of course and propping up the card and tacky gift industry. So on the subject of tacky gifts, just wondering if anyone will receive / buy some truly awful tat this (or yester-) year?? Or maybe you actually did well??

Well a little non motorbike related topic (but i did use the bike to get to the location) Last Sunday i traveled down to Taunton in Somerset to Grade for my next belt in Karate which now makes me a 4 kyu purple belt in godu / shotocan Karate. My next belts will be Brown, then next will be black where i will start learning all over again. Bit of a painful one this time as on the ride down i managed to burn a hole in my combat trousers and grow a blister on the back of me Knee which soon popped when i was kicked in the back of the leg. Still was a cracking day out and managed to shave a few more mm off the bottom of my foot pegs which was both fun and shit scary…

Well guys and Gals, When Mallory1 posted his thread titled "not dead yet" (or similar) he raised a good question which was "whats the purpose for blue belly button fluff?" So this got me thinking?? what are the other life's big questions and could we answer them? Seeing that we are bikers and men of men (or the ladies) and as Al Murry the pub land lord rightly proved after 2-3 pints we are able to tap into the 90% dormant brain cells and can answer pretty much any thing. SO............. My question/s are: Can you boil an Egg in a kettle? And why do boogies look like crap but taste OK?

Hiya peeps im toying with the idea of making Project FUCR supercharged, preferably using a twin-screw type although im also toying with the idea of building one or possibly using a centrifugal type, does anyone have any experiance in this area of modification?, would be nice to make my own patterns to have a casing cast from ally and build my own but owing to the speeds of all the whirlybits i feel that balancing it all may be an issue, i have access to a lathe, vertical/horizontal mill and various other tools and equipment with a basic knowledge of how it all works, im not looking to run stupidly high pressures, also how would "conventional" carbs function using a fo…

Hiya peeps Basically ive been tasking with sorting out 5 or 6 mini motos which were used at the RAF Cosford kart club until the previous IC lost interest in them, most of which are complete and look barely used with several boxes of spares aswell, in return i will be allowed to keep one of them, but compared to a fireblade it seems a bit shite So i ask the question... what can i do to a 50cc two-smoker to get more power out of it?, im looking at things i can do myself at relatively cheap cost to make it as rapid as possible (not too bothered if it blows up, its just a toy). ill get some pics after work, its such a cute thing with its little purple fairing

Well peeps, after completing a military fitness test last friday i have decided that the cancer sticks arent doing me any favours. So i've stopped smoking now, im using an electronic vapourizer instead, its pretty neat because you can have high/med/low nicotine content liquid in it and even add flavours (Vanilla and strawberry is my favourite atm...) i had a few drags on a tab on saturday night whilst down the pub, i smoked half of it and then felt a bit ill so that was the end of that, the strange thing is ive tried quitting before but found i was even more unpredictable and volatile than usual, looking to start an argument at work for an excuse to go out and hav…
