Just wanted to whinge really. Been trying to find a replacement for our rangy. Its getting a bit jaded and we fancy moving up. Trouble being anything man enough to pull our van kicks you in the nuts with road tax. Or you cant trust either the reliability or the performance. There are a lot of cars that really should not be used for big vans. Freelanders for example. Can legaly tow our van but its a gutless bstrd. I just missed an 07 chrysler 300c v8. Gassed. Thats a 450bhp monster. Giving 50mpg equivalent. Road tax is over a grand a year WHA!!!. The diesel is still good though, but dearer? on fuel. Also. Who knows how much the fuckers will put it up. As for the e…

Am i the only person not surprised that the mince is of dubious origin in processed food. A lot of our european nations have a, at best notional view of laws. Its another issue that all the companies have chosen to ignore. I very much doubt that the companies envolved did not know. You wont be able to prove it. There wasnt anybody shouting that their meat was 100 per cent beef. Nobody think thats odd. 21st century business caught for what it is. Massive money machines and sod the punter.

Right the wife is doing my head in! What do you guys call a proper "mans" biscuit? I would say it's gotta be a ginger nut, they are great dunked in your tea n dont break mid dunk, and they are nice n crunchy. But she thinks a hob nob is a man's biscuit.

I took my star out for the first time in a couple of weeks today. When i was on my way back she started kangarooing down the road and when i got it home it was running badly. It has fuel in the tank but not that much but the fuel light has not come on but does work as when i you turn the key it lights up and goes out. I am very worried as i hope there is nothing majorly wrong i will put some more fuel in soon and try it, but i was wondering if anyone would know any different. From filling her up till now i have only done about 60 miles and she is almost empty but i have only done little trips as weather has been rubbish as you know. Nick

Well i just heard on the radio that Mr Cameron is going to put out a petition to see who wants to vote Great Britain out of the EU. It will only happen if they get in power and also if the other EU countries agree. Personally, i would def vote us out. We don't use euro's and come off it the way i see it, is that the EU is bringing in all these new laws as if they are the newer Nazi's (but with out all the killing and stuff) they are just trying to take over the world in a political way, In my eyes any way. As always..............................open to discussion, and seeing that its in the "Yamabyss" section you can go all out Also, if we do come out of the…

This may appeal to anyone who regularly visits web forums (I found it on another forum I visit) How many forum members does it take to change a lightbulb? 1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed. 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently. 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs. 1 to move it to the Lighting section. 2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section 7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs 5 to flame the spell checkers 3 to correct spelling/grammar flames 6 to argue ov…

Hi peeps, I need to pick your brains for a while... Basically im moving from oxford to wolverhampton in April, i have a kia sportage 4x4 as a daily driver and also have a classic mini as a toy (not taxed or tested atm), i dont have a B+E licence so when i move i cannot put the mini on a trailer and tow it as i would be over my 750kg limit. however, a friend at work has a towing dolly, used only once and he is after £125 for it, its like a little single-axle trailer but with a turntable on top which the front wheels of the towed car sit on, this means that the car you are towing is then classed as a normal trailer and requires no driver, the Kia weighs 1500kg and the…

Just had to mention it. Have just been talking to my kids on the phone and opened the paper to it. Rips at your guts. I cannot imagine how they feel nor want to. But i feel for them. How the laws are fixed. I dont know. More will be done next time it happens. There will be another. Sure as the sun comes up. I just wish the press would erase the psycho that did it. Remove him from any publicity. Just remember the victims. That would help more than banning assault rifles.

I saw this non marked, dangerously parked, speed camera on a very busy ring road this afternoon. Anyone in the inside lane would have to encroach into the outside lane to safely pass the van. It was on the border of a slip road which would have affected viability. Parked astride a concrete lane divider and on hash marks. There were a few police cars passing when I took the picture so they didn't seem to be worried about drivers safety. This was outside a Hospital as well.

Thanks to a nice lady in a Nissan Note who decided to pull out of a side road right in front of me, my little RXS is no more. After flying over her bonnet and sliding across 2 lanes of oncoming traffic on my arse, I've learnt the following - Crashing hurts. I got off lightly You can't legislate for all the idiots out there. Anyway, I've got a new bike and am back on the road - Little YBR, seems a cracking little starter bike, only thing I'm not keen on is the noise it makes, sounds very similar to my lawnmower That's all really. Be careful out there chaps/chapesses. Wes

Hey peeps Tearing my hair out with this fireblade, have been trying to start it for the past hour to little or no avail, ive been jumpstarting it off the car as the fireblade battery does not have the power to spin it over for any period of time. No matter what combination of throttle position, choke or swearing i give it the fucker still wont start, just the occasional very loud backfire which the station guards thought was a gunshot and sent out a patrol. now, if this was the XJ600 i would have it running by now, check the fuel is getting to the cylinders, give the sparkers a dust off with a wirebrush whilst im at it, check the spark and maybe if im feeling …
