Just heard the greedy bastards are increasing the cost of a line to £2 from 5th oct. I know if you don't like it don't play, but think of all the people living on the breadline who dream of winning and put a pound on every week it was bad enough when they increased the draws for people who put the same numbers on religiously, now to double the stake is just taking the piss in my opinion.

Hiya peeps, Been thinking now about getting some of the afore mentioned items as im starting to buy/sell the jap cars as a hobby. As far as i understand, the VAT threshold is around £60,000 a year, and if i am trading FTOs worth £500-£750 every month or so im never going to come near that, but as far as i understand it to get trade plates i would need a trade licence... and to get a trade licence i would need to be registered as a trader. I have the form to apply for a trade licence, but how do i register as a motor trader? also if i apply for a trade licence how do i go about getting trade plates from that? this is confusing me already

Well Yesturday i decided to finish work early as its was sunny and i wanted to go to Screw fix and get some bits to carry on with the bike. Just plodding along the same route i do every day and was over taken by loads of cars on the A303 as i was in no rush to get home. Any ways one of the cars that over takes me soon slows down and as we come off the 303 i get stuck behind him. Soon this became scary! he starts to go over the white line, then jumps back on track, then slides over to the verge and then snaps it back and continues this for a few mins and then starts to drive normal again. But not for long and he nearly takes out another on coming cager. To …

Since this thing seems to be in fashion... OK, imagine I am Sir Ridley Scott* and I am filming your favourite ride ever. Your most beloved, most treasured memory on your bike of choice. All the shots will be perfect, everything will look as good as it made you feel. However, I need a soundtrack to accompany the footage. What one song/score/track would you choose? If you have more than one bike, you can choose one per bike, but only ONE song!! Answer below... *Or whoever your favourite film maker happens to be.

Right boys & girls ..... The mid life crisis continues. I'm getting a tattoo done. To be fair, I've researched and thought about this for over a year. Just wondering what your views are on tattoos in general? Are they a common feature among the disreputable bikers on this site??

Rant I'm afraid, the good news is that I haven't had to fight in any wars (probably the first generation ever that hasn't) but I notice an increasing amount of general aggrevation and hassle at work, my missus is an NHS staff nurse even though part time she is more exhausted than me (I'm full time) due to staff cuts, savings and poor management we've had the same kind of stuff but nothing like as bad yet, everybody is irritable and overloaded, customers won't take no for an answer and quickly turn to complaining/ threatening - (yes it works folks) if they can't get what they want rant rant rant, grrrrrrrr ah that's better have a nice …

Well peeps, i am a happy foamy tonight Managed to get the FTO down the workshop and re-assemble the wingmirror that was held on with bodge tape, araldited all the mounts back together and saved myself £30 for a new mirror picking up a second hand door on friday to replace the dented one which is on the car right now and polished the headlights. Very simple jobs, but gives me a great sense of satisfaction, what's the most satisfactory things you have done?

So Ive just gone and ordered a new XJ6N and was looking at exhausts for them. Man are they hard to find. What I am after is getting that fruity sound. Not bothered about extra HP as I dont want to buy a full system. Anyone got any suggestions on what they have found and where to get them in the UK. My biggest concern is the blackbox cat and silencer, do they pretty much nerf anything but a full system? Anyhelp greatly appreaciated.

  20. I made the title descriptive so save people reading this and wasting 3 minutes which they will never get back. Before I took the SV for it's MOT and ending up buying my next project I ordered some stuff off fleabay for the SV. The plan was to give the SV a service and change the chain and sprockets. The stuff started to arrive and was fine. Yesterday a new chain breaker arrived. It would do the job but was not like the picture. I opened up a complaint case. Today a Rotacraft, superdooper, rotary tool set arrived, the plastic case face was cracked. I opened up a complaint case. To be fair both sellers have offered a full refund on the items return but I have ne…
