Fitted new front tyre and tube a month or so ago. Yesterday, the best day of our year up here so far, and flat tyre. Looked at it last night pumped it up and left it. This morning, another cracker, and flat as fek again. In from work tonight, changed the valve and this time I 'painted' some soapy liquid around the valve and stem. BIG bluddy bubbles coming from the base of the valve stem..........so need to get the thing off and pick up another new tube

A fantastic day up here today so me and the boy went away a run, nowhere in particular, just following the front wheel. I passed a wee slip road and remembered it was a decent wee 'B' road I 'discovered' last year. Some fab views and definitely made for bimbling

I posted this question earlier on another message board I visit. I received a number of replies but would like to see what our guys and girls think on here As some of you may know I while away my working life working as a Sergt/Cox'n on a Police Launch on the Clyde. It is a job I find very enjoyable with different levels of challenges each time I slip my moorings. I seldom come home fed up with the job, which I hear from a lot of my land based colleagues. Anyway I have been invited to attend an interview at the end of this month with the prospect of promotion, if successful. This would mean leaving the Marine Unit and being confined to mainly driving a desk. I don't s…

Sorry guys and gals bit of a rant this one but it gripped my shit good and proper last night. Im not what you would call a big "gamer" and to be fair i could live with out a games console very well and live a happier life, i probably play my Xbox for about 2hrs a week if that. Now im sure you have heard about this game Grand theft Auto 5? that massive hit and big seller, well this is what i've been playing every now and then and is what my rant is about. this game cost £45 brand new which is the normal cost of a new game so i didn't mind paying that as i wanted the game, BUT once your in the game and are playing on line you then have to fork out another £40 just t…

Hey peeps. Came back from work last night to find a Notice of Intent to Prosecute from the south wales police on the mat, doing 35 in a 30 (yes yes i know, im worse than Hitler, i kill babies with hammers, I punch nuns in the face and all that other hippy bullcrap). Ive filled out the S172 and sent it back along with a letter asking for photographic evidence of the vehicle, what device was used to record the speed, proof of calibration e.t.c, is there any other way i can squirm my way out of filling their piggy banks? insurance is a rip off as it is (1300 for Pajero, 1200 for FTO) and i dont want to have to fork out more of my hard earned when renewal time comes around…

Well folks, today starts the celebrations leading up to the Queens* birthday on Monday. I'm off work until next wednesday and am about to head to the pub to start my homage to HM. I intend to be mainly drunk until then, so if at any time I post anything offensive or out of character or personally offensive to anyone then I apologise in advance. Sometimes my sensitivity filter gets switched off with alcohol. Oh forgot to say, I share my birthday with auld Lizzie and as its a mid century milestone I intend to make the most of it....
