I left work early today, to get home and play with new PC components, expecting to spend ages updating Windows or somesuch... The ride home is all good, bit nippy but everything going great. Traffic is hectic as ever, but nothing I can't take in my stride. I live along a 'country main road', which means single carriageway, two-way traffic. Clean lane markings, some street lighting. Speed limit 40mph, but you can expect most people are pushing 55, so always take extra care. I'm approaching the turn into my driveway, which is across the oncoming traffic on the right side of the road. I check my mirror, seeing there is a car quite far behind... so far that she has her …

hi there peeps. Ive recently picked up a Mitsubishi FTO with the 1.8 straight-4 engine in the hope that it will be cheaper to run/insure than my 2.0 V6 FTO. only problem is i bought it as spares or repair, the drivers side window was smashed and the battery leads cut before the scumbags made off with the battery including the clamps and leads. ive replaced the window and i now need to splice a new length of cable to extend the existing cables to reach the battery box. The cables i need to splice are 7mm diameter and 10mm diameter, soldering is unlikely to work as i dont have a soldering iron meaty enough to tackle the job, so i am looking to use an inline crimp/s…

Enough was enough today. Happened to be riding home from work in the pissing rain, at the same time as the local senior school , sorry, Performing Arts College, was turning out. I had trouble with the dullards before, walking out into the road without looking and then expecting you to slam on and take evasive action. Remonstration is usually replied with a torrent of verbal abuse. Today? No, sorry son, I aint taking evasive any more and putting myself at risk on wet sloppy leaves/oncoming etc Continued straight on, only slowing enough so as to contact him as I came to a controlled top That fucking woke him up Torrent of abuse Kickstand down, off t…

Well hoping that your all ok and nothing has been damaged or hurt? Driving to work this morning and i had to play tree surgion and rubbish man as the roads where covered in bin bags and trees. Some people are so stupid, they get given ample amounts of warning not to leave things out that could fly away, yet they still put rubbish bags out for the bin men to collect Any way i got the warm happy feeling that i helped a few people get to work after removing these items from the road and the cuppa tea at work tasted all the more better. Stay safe guys!

Hi All, My FZ16 is making rhythmic noise for some months. I got it oiled fearing a dry chain and it got subdued for some time but yesterday the wheels started locking. Even in neutral rolling the bike the rear wheel was getting stuck and I had to force it to roll. The bike is 4 years old. around 25000Kms Never changed chain kit TIA tanweer

Hi all, I'm after a few folks who have restored FZ750s to help with a feature in Practical Sports Bike magazine. It would involve a chat on the phone and you supplying a high res photo of you and your bike to go with your words of wisdom. We're after hints/tips/advice/techniques - anything that would help someone who's thinking of having a go themselves. If you're up for helping out, you can contact me at [email protected] or on 07875 736021. Many thanks in advance for any offers. All the best, Gez Kane, Practical Sports Bikes

My bike only goes 210km/h! Lol. Which is pretty fast I think! Just makes me laugh seeing threads with people who have a 125cc and don't understand why it doesn't go over 100km/h...... lol
