  2. Too true. As for the points of smells and train noise, I smell and snore so if people camp next to me I will mask both of these issues. Well, what are friends for eh

  5. Hi As Sacha said if you are using the oil injection system (I recommend keeping the oil pump and not running on pre mixing oil into the petrol) you can use either, just block off the one you don't use as it will allow extra air into the motor and that would cause trouble.

  6. Remove left cover press starter button and find starter selonoid ( thing going buzz) remove the 2 heavy wires and clean them up and reinstall. Clean the small wire as well, clean both battery terminals. and squirt some wd 40 in the start button..Bike should start. If not take a jumper wire and jump the 2 wires at the selonoid if the bike turns over then the selonoid is done

  7. I may have misunderstood your question, but only ignore the oil pump delivery if you're not using the oil pump. I used the banjo bolt on my 1976 with a carb that doesn't have the inlet pipe. Alternatively, you could use the carb inlet for oil delivery and block off the banjo bolt one. How's that? Clear as mud?

  12. The kickstand thing is about horses (no, I know horses don't have kickstands.) You get on and off a horse from the left, so when motorbikes first appeared they mounted the bike the same way they mounted a horse. Putting the kickstand down with the left foot puts that foot on the ground first and so is easy to dismount on the left, like dismounting a horse.
