the diaphrams in my xj carbs were a bit worse for wear so i picked up a set of carbs on ebay for £17 hoping they'd have a usable set in. lucky me, they are all nearly new ebay can be good sometimes 8) i now also have a full spare set of carbs :wink: oh and a full spare throttle cable

recently my DTs gears have been making funny noises, the big crash that i told you about before and now just the odd clunk into 1st and second... bit odd, its beginning to sound like an old bike....its only got 10 k on clock and 2002... any ideas lads? wasted clutch maybe i dont really know...

Ok, here we go!, my mate said yesterday I should change my oil, yes I said!, now (and this is his idea!). He reckons oil is oil, he gets his from the motor factors £8 for 5 ltrs semi synth. He reckons the stuff you you get out the factors (eg Comma ect) when it says 10/40 ect or semi/fully ect is the same quality as shell ect out the bike shops. I kinda agreed because I didnt know, but quietly I'm saying "dont talk shite!", is he right/wrong?. Personaly I'd rather put Shell, Castrol ect in it, whats the verdict on this?

I was looking at your bike and other's who have the yzf 750, and Iv'e came to the conclusion that mine has definately been "raised" at the seat rails. maybe not by much but it has raised, cause where the welds are that come out from the frame, the angle at the frame is about 25 degrees then goes to about 30. I thought the back end look kinda high, I'll need to same pics sent in of this thing, well then again just imagine a 94' yzf 750 without a fairing in black (all black, apart from the tuning forks symbal on the tank) a slightly raised back end small twin h/lights and your there!, oh, and blue wheels :?

Fitting a 1ltr exup engine or (if it would work) fitting a 1ltr block and head onto the yzf750 bottom, again if would work.

My wife saw one on the road today in Chippenham. Taylor Racing our local dealer had one out on trade plates today. One chap here had been advertising that the one he has on order will be on ebay. I will see if they take it to Avebury Biker night tomorrow

To do to a 94' yzf750, I think it's fekn brill, where would I get these under tray pipe's and how much could I expect to pay. And how easy/hard is it to graft an R1 seat unit on.

what mags do you buy? not scud, bongo, or raz mags i mean bike ones (so no 50 plus and readers wives pete ) i buy motorcycle mechanics, BIKE and sometimes mcn. mechanics is prob my fav outta them 8)

I used eBay for the first time yesterday to sell the DT. I put the entry in, had no bids as yet. Then today I had an email from them saying my account was suspended and I was banned from eBay for life. I've sent them a mail to ask WTF is going on! the speedo drive thats inside the wheel, I dont mean the part that the cable goes into, it's the bit inside the wheel with the "lugs" on it. Or is it a new wheel, again the mate tonight "oh you can buy them", I said he was talking bollocks, who's right?

Exactly that!, just how do you get these fekers off!!......... And another thing, you either have one or another right!, well my end can has an Akrapovic badge on it but a Micron "end" on it :?. But the 3 Allen bolts that hold it on 1 of them is rounded :evil:, but the first time the mate saw/heard it "oh get the wadding out of that, it's chocking it to fuck, you can hear it when you rev it". I said he talking bollocks, he said ok them but you take the wadding out and you'll see the diffirence, is he right?
