We all spend ages cleaning our pride and joy so it looks great when we go for a raz on the twisties . Only trouble is that when we get back it's covered in dust, dead flies, mud and all sorts of crap! When all the hard work is done, and she's gleaming like a good un, spray WD40 on almost everything, then polish it up with an old cloth!! Might sound backward but it acheives several things; 1 - you'll be surprised just how much more crap comes off! 2 - it lubricates all those bits you couldn't reach or forgot! 3 - it repels water so keeps the electics happy and rust at bay. 4 - it leaves a thin protective film, so when you get back and have to clean …

i need to put a new inner tube into ma front wheel (spoked wheel) but i can get the bloody tyre off cus i dont have proper leavers? what else cud i use (that i might find in the garage) to do it. cus someone is coming over to have a look at the bike at 5:30 tonight and i woke up this morning it had a flat :shock: thanks for help

I managed to get out for a few hours, did a tour of the lakes, and then on to Devils Bridge. Chucking it down at Devils Bridge, but glorious sunshine in the lakes. Lake district.....best place to ride a bike......here are a few pics.

Oh SHIT was out today at lunch time and my chain came off the rear sprocket.... BANG...... it wrapped itself round the front sprocket and it has broken a bit of my engine casing where the clutch arm goes in to gear box.... there thats little bit of casting rite above the sprocket.... it gone, ive been up and down the road trying to find it but no such luck.... Any ideas on what to do? Thanks

I am the proud owner of a 2003 R6 in Silver and Matt Black. It has been brought to my attention that the standard pipe is shite, therefore I need to look at an alternative. I was hoping for some suggestions from the Yam Club members who have taken the same advice and changed their's. I only want an end can not a full system. What do ya think is best for the 2003 R6?

when out on the bike today i spotted a stunning blue r1, with BLUE tyres on it :shock: what are your thoughts on these? bit tacky i thought. made a class bike look cheap. if anyone has them then no offence :oops:

Hi there. I will be racing at the event and the club needs a hand with marshals. If anyone is interested in being a Marshal for the weekend they will be payed and I will also get a credit note! £10 a day for the marshal + a £10 bonus if they do both days. and I will get £20 credit note each day for each marshal. i remeber a topic a while back about bleeding brakes and how much hassel it was to get all the air out etc. well ive been told a bloody easy way of doing it and it works a treat trust me. all u gotta do is use a couple of elastic bands to compltly pull ur leaver back, then u gotta open ur resivor up and top it up, wait 6 hours, and do it again (if it needs it) and ur done, bascally cus ur brake is fully on something or other is open all the time and the air just flows up to the top, which is y after 6 hours if u have loads of air it will look like loads of fuild has gone, but it wont have, just the air will have gone. brill trick which can be done over night with mi…

My wife has been saying a lot lately, that I am obsessed with my bike (well anything to do with bikes really). Every opportunity, I am out on it. As soon as I get home I am washing it. And not just a quick flick with a sponge....its the full on clean. I even find myself taking it out of the shed, just so I can look at the darn thing out of the kitchen window as I wash the dishes! I suppose she doesn't know what it feels like to ride a bike, the front end rising as you open the throttle, the sweeping left and right hand bends, the sheer delight as you filter through all the traffic! Cant believe what i have just done!!! :cry: :cry: I was outside cleaning my bike, and someone phoned me up so i was just chatting away and not really thinking and sprayed alloy wheel cleaner over my rims! I completely forgot you cant put the stuff on polished alloy !! :oops: :oops: So now i have white stains all over my wheels :evil: Have spent about an hour so far polishing with autosol and its coming off, but what a stupid thing to have done :shock:

Beezkneez sent this to me over the weekend......appearantly taken from the BSB race :?: It happened on the Warm-Up lap.....rather fitting :shock: I had to cut our conversation short & didn't get to ask him why Haga is in this picture, if it was a BSB race? Hot Nevertheless :shock:
