Hi All, Need a bit of advice. I need to get a new exhaust as mine is now far too rusty and i want a better one anyway. Which is the best front pipe/ expansion chamber out of DEP and Fresco Big One? I realise this is all subjective and down to personal experience etc but the Big one is around £60 cheaper. I already have a nice DEP back pipe. Thanks, Lee.

I have a DT125R '03 model. Showroom spec. Seriously considering the DEP pipe and can, which I understand means taking the main Jet up one size. Can anyone confidently describe how I would release more power from the servo assisted powervalve? I have viewed a lot of conflicting information on this very point and remain truly confused. Thx.

.....exploring the mountain roads of northern Granada! Firstly the ascent to La Sagra...... You really don't want to get it wrong up here.... Parked up near the summit.... ....where you can see for miles! Then it was on to Santiago (about 40 miles) for a coffee....then back down the mountain. I decided to follow a forestry track....bloody Siracs are awful on this type of surface. Then turned off the track and went through the forest... Back onto the roads.....congested as usual..... There's dirtriding as far as the eye can see in every direction. B…

Well, to start out, I am not only new to this forum (this is my first post), I am new to owning a dirt bike. I bought my dirt bike from my cousin and it's in awesome condition - T-TR 125 One of the things that kind of creates a problem is that there is no muffler, so it is extremely loud. Since the muffler was ripped off, there is not a very clean cut, some of the metal is sharded out from the exhaust pipe. Anyways, my question is... what would be the best thing to do in this situation? Should i buy a muffler and try to wield it on myself, or maybe just go ahead and buy a whole new exhaust pipe with muffler? I'm going for a low cost - i actually have no ide…

I picked up a yz 250 and Im having trouble with the plug fouling. I ran it for about five miles today then it quit. I checked the spark and had none. Im mixing the gas 42-1. I just picked up the bike and Im just now going through it. Its been a few years since Ive had a bike. The last yz I was a 78' 400. Its a upgrade for me having a 91. Should i rebuild the carb? Is there an adjustment I can make to solve this problem? Marlin

Anyways ive had my DT 125 (2000 Model) for sometime now and am sick of the power, I have a full dep exhaust system and am workin on having my power valves adjusted but at the moment it tops out at over 75mph. I understand i wil need a new de-restricted C.D.I. unit and a set of carbon reed valves, but dont know where to start looking, what type i will need, or the different names of each type, can anyone help ?

Hello, I've just recently bought my first Yamaha.. Its a dt125 -86. I therefore just regged an account here =) Overall I am very pleased with the bike, I think it runs really well as I have only driven some old Mopeds earlier There are however a few small wonderings I have about the machine.. 1. The prev. owner claimed that the modelyear is 86 (wich is also said in the Registration papers) but the engine was exchanged to a -89! Is there someway to check if this is true? and are there big differences between 86 and 89 engines that may cause problems when I need spare parts? 2. I have driven a total of about 50km and the last time i drove it I notised that the Oi…
