Hi guys/gals,ive got a full dep system on me dtr at the moment but ive turned into a bit of a exhaust nut lol and im thinking of getting a full nikon exhaust for me bike.Has anyone got one on there bike or has anyone rode a bike with one on?? What are they like sound wise and performance.Thanks syks

Hey. Just picked this beauty up for $750. 4700 original miles!!! All I had to do was a quick tuning on the carb and replace a brake lever. Never had one of these before but man are they a blast!!!

Hi Guys, I was wondering how many of you with TT600R (i beleive its a 98 lump) have had the same problems that im having. STARTING, just cant seem to get it to start witout being absolutly PXXXXD off and shattered so much that after all that kicking i domt want to ride it. I realise that there is a knack, but i just cant seem to find out what it is. As the bike was mainly used for off road and the previous owner road regd it it does not have a battery. I had the wiring checked thats now fine. Changed the plug. When it starts she is great fun. What are the chances of fitting a starter to it, whats the cost of that?? Hi guys new to the site. Just bought a 1989 DT 125 with 2002 engine in it. All above board really pleased with it apart from sounding a bit rattly top end....Piston slap sound maybe. Just wondered what your thoughts were its on 11k no idea on history so would you say top end ie piston and ring or would you go as far as a rebore? Cheers in advance Scott

Hi, Ok, so I'm 40, and this is probably a mid life crisis, but I'm gonna do CBT next month and have my heart and mind set on a Yamaha DT125RE (Black). I was gonna go for a Honda XR125, but then I saw one on the road, and they are really short. I'm 6'2", and I think the 900mm seat height on the DT would suit me fine. Anyway, I'm getting mixed messages about the premix situation... after hearing its a pain in the arse etc, I then heard that certain bikes use a pump of some sort to do the premix thing for you. Anyone know the details? What models have the pump thing? Does it work? Your thoughts. Also, I'm gonna take this opportunity to get some basic mechanic …

hello again went to align my forks today and relised some Tw@t has rounded 2 of them off on the top yoke... any suggestions? one im sure i can shock off with my impact driver but the other is totally round iv never seen a rounded bolt so round

I have two questions re my Yamaha TTR50 1. When you reve the engine thier is a delay before the rpms come back down. What could be the cause? 2. Why does the choke always have to be on before this thing will start? Seems even if warmed up, it wont start without the choke on?? Any info would be helpfull

hello everyone , i wonder if you can help me , i have just purchased a 98 wr400f rear tyre 110-100-18 and front 90-90-21 are these the standard sizes has when i have been looking for tyres the rear comes up as suitable for a 250cc what would you guys recomend for the rear ? also i live in the midlands uk , do you know of any tyre suppliers at reasonable prices ? many thanks

DT125R pulls to the left not the normal slight pull from the camber but if i lightly grip the bars the hole bike sort of dives like it wants to swoop to the left even at higher speeds also when breaking it does the same thing. when i put the front wheel between my nees and wobble the bars the bars go left and right so do the forks but the wheel stays still only slightly what could this be? is it possibly for the axle to break? if so would it cause this effect? wheel bearing? "-------------" i no the brake isnt sticking so thats elimanted what else could it be? any suggestions

When ive been riding my yzf426 for a bit and stop but just leave the engine running it starts leaking fluid out from the bottom.It isnt petrol i don't think its oil i think its water,is this because it gets hot and cos of expansion it spills some out.When i ride it tho and stop it stops doing this.does anyone know what this may be?

Its for my son to drive around the lanes down here in the South West of france (great trails here). problem is i don't know much about bikes...can anyone tell me: What is the plastic tank on the right hand side for that says Motor Oil ..... yes ok it's for oil but should it be kept full and with what oil? 2 Stoke mixture what should it be and do you just pre - mix and put the fuel in the tank? What grade oil do you use for the engine, how much does it take and where is the sump plug? Gear Box again what grade of oil and where is the drain plug and hole for adding the box oil?
