Ive Just fitted a ''power cone filter'' from wemoto ( for my specific bike ) as Ive herd it can increase acceleration and overall power ( albeit not much ). After fitting the filter i started the bike and a LOT of white smoke was being put out of the exhaust - presumably from the mixture having to much air in it ( correct me if im wrong there ) After riding around for a short time the smoke became less but was still putting out more than usual. Basically Im asking if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to fix it!! I dont have a very good manual for my bike so im hoping i can get some more in depth knowledge!! Thanks, <>Chris

Hi! I rebuilded an old 1987 yz 250. Now it works fine, but i'd like to change the plastic with a new one kit. Is it possible? Someone told me to look for the ufo plastic kit, but i found nothing which can be compatible with my bike. I thought to change the frame, in order to avoid the plastic compatibility problem. But do you know a recent frame where my engine can fit well? I hope you can help me... thanks a lot! (if you need info about this bike, i uploaded a video about its rebuilding on youtube: http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=RaJV_rpLqqg)

Hey all. new member to this site. I have a 85 XT 350 that I'm having some elecrical issues with. First, I have a hot battery. Second, with the ign/acc on, the blinkers work but no other lights. With the bike running the headlight works but the tail light and brake light (front and rear) do not work. 2 weeks ago the rear brake light was working fine but front never has (owned bike 2 years now), figured it was front switch. Tore into it last week and front switch works if I use a jumper wire to put power to connection at 2 prong plug under/behind headlight. I don't have a manual or wiring schematic. Any and all assistance would be appreciated, and yes I'm shopping for a man…

Hi, I'm attempting to service a Yamaha XT125R. Can anyone tell me where the oil filter is on a 2005 xt125r. I think I'm loosing the plot as I can't find anything in the hand book to mention oil filter and there is nothing obvious to be seen? Also can anyone tell me how much fork oil each fork leg needs when rebuilt with new seals? Are there any manuals available for this bike? Any help would be much appreciated.

To power the electric roadbook, the IMO tripmeter and the GPS, plus to make sure traffic can still see me of the bike stalls at a traffic light, i have mounted a little battery behind the left sidepanel. I found this battery on http://www.kickstarter-classics.de, article MA-RP. It costed me EUR 28.00 including postage. I removed the tools in the toolbox, drilled a little hole for the wires, warmed the box under the tap to make it flexibel and squeezed the battery in place. I put it in a section of an old innertube to protect it and prevent it from opening on the trail. The red wire was connected to the red wire that comes out of the rectifier, the red/black wire goes …

Hi all. The front forks look knackered. The chrome is quite badly chipped and I can't get a good oil seal. Are they repairable, replaceable, or can I fit some new ones? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, always wanted one when I was younger, but couldn't afford one, but have finally managed to get on :-) The bike does not have a V5 but the frame and engine numbers match, is there a web site I can use to fine the exact year and model? I think it's a 1983 model. Will it be hard to get an age related plate? Does anyone know the best place to get spares and or where there are any good images, the person who had the bike before me must have been a goth nearly everything is painted black :-( Thanks in advance............

I was riding my bike and through the woods in 3rd gear when the bike started to bog down. realizing this i down shifted and slowed down to first gear speed. still acting funny the bike just shut off on my while still rolling. I tried kicking it to get it started again but after about 10 kicks the kick starter would not go down and it is jammed. Any ideas of what is wrong? thanks in advance ~jim
