Hi everyone, This is my first post on the forum and i was wondering if anyone has had any sucess using a 150 / 60 18 rear tyre on a 91 model FZR600. I have had the bike since new and as anyone who owns an FZR with 18 inch rear its getting real hard to get decent tyres. I changed the front tyre size years ago to 120 / 70 17 which greatly improved the bikes cornering when hitting into tight ones at speed (stops it trying to stear itself) I have the bike stripped to the frame at the moment giving it a major birthday (new everything) Hope some one has some feedback on this. Bye the way has anyone changed the rear to a 17inch rim??

hey, Somehow the casing for the speedo gearbox on the front wheel has cracked and split open. Any ideas about repair/replacement? oh, the bike is a DT125 LC Mk3. cheers!

Hi Just wondered if someone could give some advise or opinions. The devil sat on my shoulder and told me to go and look at my local Yamaha dealer to see what prices i could get an 04 era R1 or a nearly new R6 for. Turns out they are similar price. Anyway i have a 2004 immacualte R6 with only 7k on the clock and all the papers etc etc etc and they offered me a very low px price. I then went to bike shope not that far from me who had a 07 R6 for 6k and offered me 3500 px for mine which i thought was not bad at all. Another place only offerred 2500. Thats a massive difference. I have seen similar sell for around 4k marker on piston heads so have just added mine …

what up just recently joined the site, picked up a new 09 R6 and wanted to throw a slip on, on it what else do i need besides the pipe, i hear a powercommander but with the bike get ruined or can it still be ran without one??

Is there anybody out there. I'm new to all this forum business, so I don't know wether I'm in the right section. all I do know is I've got a TDM 850 thats bouncing about like a grasshopper on Acid, due to the fact the rear shock absorber is absolutley Fcuked ! So I would be very gratefull if anyone has got a used one for sale?

Hi Guys, I have a R125 on a 2008 plate, which has covered little over 3000 miles. Does anyone know when the service is due? it did have its original one i think at 600miles. Also how often shouldl the chain be lubricated? Thanks in advance. Sam

hi ive just bought myself a 1988 1000cc FZR genesis and have found that the gearbox is completly totalled, i am finding it difficult to find any gearboxes that will fit or genesis engines for sale, however there does seem to be a lot of exup engines about and i would like to know, 1) does the exup engine fit the genesis frame? 2) does the exup gearbox fit the gensis engine? if anyone could help here it would be much appreciated. many thanks adam

I'm sure it's a common topic, but I can't find any help through search. Is there a conversion kit to change the R6 headlight from being on one side to both? I keep reading about this highbimmin site that used to do it but it seems to be non existant now. Just tired of the constant, "hey one of your headlights is out"

have a 93 yzf 750 and when i acclerate hard the bike cuts off! i can downshift into neutral and start it right up!any one else out there had this problem!!!! thanks for lookin!!!!!!!!!

Hi, does anyone know which way the springs go in the forks of the R125 because i just had them fixed after a crash and the bloke who put them back together put the springs in the opposite way round to how they came he said the tighter coiled bit of the spring should be at the bottom of the fork and the more spaced part of the spring at the top, I dont have a clue if it would make any difference being in the opposite way round, hope someone can help me!

Hi there, ive managed to smash the glass etc on my SR125 - and just wondering if the glass is the same as the old ones (with square dials and built in headlight) ? As i think a whole new unit is going to be hard to come across - unless anyone else knows anywhere to get one from ? any help would be great thanks.
