Can anybody recommend a good website to find double bubble screen for my FZ6 2004. Looked everywhere but just can't find one to fit 2004 model.

A slight accident on my own bike whilst sitting the cbt has left my spedometer fully operational but the front casing and screen is cracked. Luckily I came off the worst bruising both my left arm and confidence. I have since passed my CBT and I'm now looking to repair the damage. Is there any recomended solutions that I could attempt at home? Besides a dealer or am auction site is there any recomedations on where to go for spares? Thanks Gary

Hiya all, my names Jonny, new to the forum so want to say hi to everyone. Just had two quick questions, firstly with my YBR is it normal for it to make a slight clunking noise when shifting into first? Doesn't sound like particularly healthy noise and wondering if it's anything to worry about. Also has anyone managed to find a manual online for this bike? I didn't get one with it when I bought it, but would be incredibly useful to have one! Thanks in advance, Jonny

Hi, I own a ybr 125 but want abit more power from it or make it sound better. I was wandering are there any exhaust cans you can get?? or change anything on the bike itself so it gives abit more power or anyhting thing else becuae i dont know much about bikes. Thanks!

Hi guys, Complete newbie to bikes and have acquired an '06 YBR125. Good so far, but as other posters have commented, weedy headlight. At this stage don't have the time to go into separate lights or upping the power, so am just looking for a "quick fix" replacement bulb before the nights draw in. I've seen some 35/35 halogen ones on Ebay, and they say they are BA20D (395) type. I've taken my existing bulb out and none of the (extensive) markings contain "BA20D" or "395". Can anyone confirm or deny that this is the correct bulb type (I won't hold you to it)? Thanks in advance.. Martin

I'm looking to replace my stocks, they're a bit crap. Anyway, I love the bike, but from a purely asthetic point of view I wish the back tyre was bigger (I live on a small island with a 30mph national speed limit so I really don't care about performance decreases or whatever, handling differences I am interested in though ). Anyway, 90/90-M18 is the size, so is it possible to fit a bigger tyre? Maybe the 3.50-16 58P off the YBR-Custom? If I am stuck with the 90/90 M18, then I hear the bridgestones are good, do they look any better? (i've heard they do) If anybody has any before and after picture's i'd absolutely love to see. Please keep in mind i'm clue…

Okay so im having a bit of trouble with my YBR, Basically if the bike has above 1/2 tank the bike runs perfectly! However as soon as the bike gets to half tank and below it seems to just conk out, feels like fuel starvation. Now when the bike conks out and stalls if I take off the fuel cap and replace it the bike starts up again. So the problem seems related to the fuel tank pressurising or something? My thoughts were maybe a breather pipe or something (apparently YBRs breather is through the fuel cap) is blocked stopping air from getting into the tank therefore forming a vacuum stopping fuel getting into the carb. Hello! I am searching for two parts. Is there any chance to get an aftermarket case carrier for the sides for a 2005 Yamaha YBR 125? I am living in Germany and they only have two words for me: "No way". The other question: I have noticed the side stand of the 2007 YBR 125. Is it possible to get and mount it to a 2005 YBR 125? Guess the answer in Germany: Yes, you are right: "There is no side stand for a 2005 YBR 125 in the catalouge"... Thanks in advance Martin

Building an FZ750 race bike and i need some parts and advise . The reason is i own an independant motorcycle repair shop . I used to race "back in the day" but am now well into my fiftys and many of the young wannabees and cowboys that come to my shop and see some old pics or trophys give me grief about being past it - well - i'm not !!!. Mid 80's is my passion - i found a dead FZ750 and now i want to build a sleeper - something that looks old and slow to the wannabees and cowboys - and go out to a few track days and maybe open up a can of WHUPASS on these youngsters . So Im New to this site. bikes and the whole bike sceen in general.I Race Stock cars but always wanted a bike. So I bought a 1994 Fzr 1000 genisis with the exup system.So i cant drive it because its winted but ive been told the exup valve needs to be cleaned or the cables adjusted because the bike doesnt pull properly at high rpm. I Have no idea what this valve is so does anyone have a step by step on how to clean this and adjust the cables or what else it could be. Any help would be great and also is there anything i should know about this bike, i guess im asking is there any common problems with the fzr 1000. Thanks Everyone

Hi there, Can you help me? I have a new YZF - R6 2009 supersports. As much as I love the bike the view from the mirrors is not what it could be. Has anyone been able to extend the mirrors (or change them?) for the bike? I have heard rumours that the R1 mirrors are longer stemed, and can be swapped over? Is this true?... I have searched the web, but there is near enough no info on this topic. Let here your thoughts!! Thanks Jamie

I have a 1999 Fazer 600. It has 34,000 mls on it with full service history. While out today when accerlerating hard at about 8500/9000 revs in 4th,5th and 6th gear there was a slight power loss. If i ease off and slowly roll on the throttle it seems to be okay but while on a stretch of dual carriageway i could only just manage to get it above 9500 revs. Has anyone encountered this problem????? as it is quite annoying!!!!

hi, i have for sale my 1989 yamaha fzr 600 genisis, it is in reasonable condition for age but there is something wrong with the gearbox so i am selling as spares or repair, engine starts first time everytime and did run very well untill the gearbox packed up recently, this could make somone a fantastic first big big if a little money is spent to put it right, it has mot until january i think and tax till febuary, im looking for about £400 which i think is a reasonable price but i am open to offers, the bike has only just had front fork seals and brake pads replaced, oil, oil filter and spark plug change aswell and a new battery not so long ago. if oyu are interested pleas…

Picked up my beautiful white 08 R6 last friday, having ridden a heavily modded Ducati M900 for the last few years, i'm in love!!! Like riding a 250 2-stroke again, tho i'm having difficulty keeping to the 8300rpm running in rule. Especially having tasted the 8750ish boost from the YCCi. Its as addictive as crack (So i'm told!!) I've already done the R&G tail tidy and flush indicator jobs, and plenty more mods to come.
