Would like to know if anyone has fitted ba risers to their cat and do they make any real worthwhile difference. I been looking on E bay for ages and they dont seem to come up, is this an indication that no one uses them. They only lift the bars 18mm which is a very small amount

i have just changedmy indicators but they fuse keeps blowing because the watage of the bulbs is to high i do have 10w bulbs on order but for the time been can i use a higer amp fuse as when i use the indicators it blows and the rear light dosent work apart from when breaking so i i put a 15amp or 20amp fuse in there will it work or will somthing else blow ? so from a 10amp - 15 or 20 amp fuse the fuse controls rear light,number platelight and front and back indicators the indicators front and back are the same and all have 21w bulbs in atm but have 10w's on order as i sead so will it work or will it damage somthing elso other wise i will have to use my arms for now

well i have clean'd my bike for the first time after my off and gave it a realy good going over ready for the MT owners club meet next weekend had to repace a few things that were damaged in the off. handlebars shifter repair hand guards radiator protectors pegs (tank still need to be sprayed) so i did some upgrades along the lines of oberon pegs,EP radiator grill,arow mini indicatros(wating on them), baracuda tail tidy with motrax shark light. think im going to ask for a powercomander for chrimbo from mum and dad then gut the air filter of its breathers and so on and already have a K&N so should gain a bit of performance andsmooth things…

Hi all, I have just bought a 1993 xjr400 it seems to be a little slower than expected how do I know if this bike is restricted in any way? I have seen a derestricted cdi on ebay which made me wounder or are they just a steady bike? any help welcomed

Hi all, Im new to this forum and new to the world of biking. Im 23 and due to do my CBT soon and have decided in a few weeks Im goin to order a new YZF125R. I have been to a dealership and had a look and Im very impressed with it, but having not been able to test drive it, wanted to hear peoples views on it. Im hoping it drives as good as it looks. What are the pros/cons as having this as a first bike? Cheers!

Hello all. I've just bought a 1993 SR125 for my gf to learn on, unfortunatly I when I was looking at it I didn't notice the bend in the front wheel (doh!), not really a problem as I didn't pay too much for it, 'cept it needs to be fixed! My question is this: Does anyone know if the 1993 SR125 came with drum front brake or disc front brake as standard? My one is disc, but I wandered if it had been 'upgraded'.... Also, can anyone see why a front wheel of a later model wouldn't fit? Cheers...

Hey guys, I was wondering what the differences, if any, are between the Thundercat, the yzf-600 and the yzf-600r? Was there ever a YZF-600 Genesis? or is that only people putting genesis FZR tails on their yzfs? Also, what is the difference between a 95 yzf 600 and the newer ones?

I bought this just awhile ago and have ridden it very little. However this happened today. I just filled up my tank with a fuel jug so I wasn't riding it. Put in enough to almost fill it up...started it up and she ran ok but then I noticed it missed a little. Turned it off and noticed fuel pour out through the carbs...I couldn't get it to stop, the petcock wouldn't stop and it came pouring from inside the carb, I pulled the air cleaners and finally had to pull the tank before it went all over my garage. What would allow gas to keep going like that? Shouldn't it stop if I don't use the accelerator? Help me to understand where to start...thanks!!

HI! Can anyone help?! Earlier today my friends 2001 R1 fell off the front paddock stand and this resulted in bad scratches and a couple of dents to the patrol tank. Amazingly the rest of the bike has got away scratch free but the tank will need replacing. Does anyone know where there may be a red/white tank in very good conditoin (to match the rest of the bike)? Anybody tried or know of a good cleaner for helping dissolve clean rust/muck out of old fuel tank prior to sealing?

I just became the owner of two classic Yamaha's, 1976 and a 1977 XS500's. I know that they are both point/condenser type ignition systems and I want to convert them to an electronic / CDI set up. Anyone out there know of any set up out there made for this, or that can be made to work?

Im about to put down my deposit on a brand new FZ1N(non abs) I was going to buy a 2006 one but then i read all the negative comments about the fuel cut problem. i believe this was cured from 2008 model onwards,but im just a bit short of cash to buy a 2008 right out. So im getting £900 off the price of the brand new one and im getting it delivered for free up to scotland and of course im still getting 0% apr.
