Hi all, i just bought a YZF R-125. Just waiting to sit my CBT on monday 7th Sep. I used to have an NSR a few years back and i got around 70 mpg taking it easy and 50mpg whilst thrashing it. What is the fuel consumption on the YZF R-125 and how does it handle compared to the NSR?

Went to look at a 2007 R6 today with the idea of selling my 2004 R6 - also ended up looking at a 2005 R1 - now im torn on what to do. My 2004 is mint with low miles, so i dont know whether i am wasting my money swapping over or not I know what i would get private sale, and px. The dealership gave me a fairly accurate price from their glasses guide. I have only been riding a couple of years, so not sure if the R1 would be the best move at the moment. Any thoughts...

I was wandering how many miles it takes to run the bike in from 0 miles and also what revs you should change the gears at before its run in. and also whats the max speed you should not go over?? thanks!

im have a problem getting the crank case cover off my aerox. ive took out all the bolts and it still seems completly jammed on. anyone help me please

Hi guys, Just joined the forum this week, as im picking up a SR125 2night, to get running, do my CBT and use it as a runabout to and from work etc.. (did do a CBT back in 2005 but on a moped ) The bike hasnt been ridden for 4 years (from tax disc). The owner says the only thing wrong with it is the battery (which is expected).. But obviously what else should I be looking to do? Ive changed all sorts of engines in all sorts of cars so shouldnt be too much of a problem to do anything. I was planning firstly to clean it up, service it (oil, filters, plug) see if the engine runs and then just make sure it all works. Are there any other obvi…

Hey everyone, I just recently got into motorbiking and passed my CBT at the weekend and Im now a proud owner of a YZF-R125! Need some advice on keeping it secure, Ive been looking at chains and disc locks to tie the bike to a metal post I have outside where I live. I have heard that even though these chains are meant to be strong, it seems they are not completely safe against a decent pair of bolt cutters. There are these chains that have a disc lock on the end and I can imagine these are more ideal as even if some little oik got through the chain, the disc lock would remain on the bike and stop it from being pushed away.
