Cheers all, new member here: I have a 94 Seca2 XJ600rebuilt from crash parts which had been sitting for years (lots of work and constant maintenance). My current issue is the crankshaft oil seal (left side behind ignition rotor), manuals show lipped seal, I understand new seal doesn't have a lip to allow replacement without splitting crankcase, however, can I remove the old one without splitting the crankcase? PS I do have wiring diagrams I could email (downloaded the manual pdf from somewhere, I don't remember where or I'd post the link)

Hi folks! This is my first post and already I'm scrambling for info. I need to replace the fork stantions on my bike as they are a bit pitted (as you would expect for a 20 year old bike). Now the cheapest Ive been able to find in the UK is from a company called Busters Accessories. They sell them for £80 each. What I need to know is can they be found cheaper (what do you expect from a Jock)anywhere else and is Busters a reputable company? I'd be glad to have your input!

I am just trying to get peoples views of the FZ6 S2. Im going to be buying one sometime this year, and it will be restricted to 33bhp. At the moment got a Honda Varadero 125, but had that nearly 2 years now and time to move on. I have looked around a great deal, but is the FZ6 S2 which I like the most. Any views on it be great, cheers NearOn

Ohhhhhhhhkay hey guys, i'm new here! Looking upon the deal of the 0% finance that's going on at the moment with the YBR's and i'm getting into this on Tuesday. I'm just wondering as to how to break the engine in. I know manufacturers say that you need to, essentially, baby it, but i've read in places that you need to just vary speeds and gears, don't rag it, but don't baby it either, just ride it how you normally would. This is so the piston rings set and don't glaze. I'm just wondering as to what the best method of breaking in an engine for a YBR is. I'd also like to add another question totally off topic. I noticed that the side panels (the new fairing on the …

Hi All, I am new to bikes, and just bought a Thundercat, What a bike! For some reason mine has a red reflector stuck to the rear numberplate - I noticed it failed on the last MOT having no Reflector so they must have stuck it on to pass. It looks rubbish and i am wondering where should it be? Thanks

Hi guys I bought A tdr125 about 7 months ago as a non runner, i removed the carb and after 3 or 4 times cleaning it trough it finally fired up. It ran fine for 5 months and i hardly did anything to it, then one day the 2 stroke pump stopped working and i came to a abrupt stop, yep you guessed it the piston picked up in the bore and i had to strip it down and get the head skimmed, new piston and rings (bearing, gaskets etc...) This was the first time i have ever stipped a bike apart ( I am a car mechanic though)but thought well whilst i am doing the top end i might as well clean up the bottom end, and replace a few gaskets and new nuts and bolts throughout. I h…

Hey guys. I'm planning a trip down to Liverpool from Irvine, Scotland. Problem here is, my wee 125 doesn't have a radiator and is air cooled. What I was wondering was... Does anyone know how long I could ride for without the engine overheating? I've heard somewhere around an hour, but I've been on a round trip round to Kilmarnock twice from my house, and that was about an hour and a half of country road. The engine was hot, but felt like it was the same temperature of a short 10 mile journey. I do know that it WILL eventually overheat and can't do the trip in one go. Thanks in advance Tom
