Ive started to ride my YBR 125 into work daily and started noticing some light scratches on the tank (where you would normally stick a tank guard) but i have no idea how they got there! or if they were there when i brought the bike. I would just stick a tank guard on it but i do not like the look of them and wanted to keep the tank as normal. I saw on the net Maguiars Scratch X which by the you tube clips (not sure if its just a gimmik) takes light scratches and scuff off your paintwork?. just wondering if anyone has used this or knows a better way to deal with light scratches? Can anyone help... I am after the length of the Exup cables for a YZF750 Mine are missing off my bike and i want to make some new ones but require the length end to end, sorry forgot to add i have the outer cables but its the inner length i'm after many thanks in advance

Hi all just registered... I have had my Thuncercat for about 8 years now, its a super bike that just runs and runs without much care given to it at all! I am now worrying everytime i go for a long journey about the odd ticking or the weird twitch or whatever charactoristic it has on that day.... So the options are: 1. go to the darkside and get a 05\06 plate err other model.... OR 2. uprate the CAT! I know where its been, afterwards it'd be like a new bike, be a lot cheaper for custom parts that i may well change on a new bike anyway! Hey there. I was in the showroom today and noticed the new 2010 YBR125. Sexy beast! I was just wondering if anyone has an idea of where to get the gauge cluster (Speedometer/Tachometer/Fuel/Indicator lights etc etc..) Looks SO much better than the 2009 model's cluster. Have an 82 XS650 specoal.. I rode it down the street (frist time she's been out for awhile) I drove up and parked it. Went inside and came back after a few and noticed I had left the headlight so I turned it off. I came out to start it and there is no power to the starter button, headlights or neutral light. The turn signals work, tail light and horn...I tracked as many wires that I could and see nothing, no bare wires and no in-line fuse...the battery is fully charged...its as if the electrical is torn in half...some systems work some don't. It's like I blew some hidden fuse someplace. Ideas??

Hello all, I have just aquired a FZR 250 with a little light work required (i hope) to get it going again. Trying to find a plate for the compression chamber between the cylinders but otherwise the bike is complete. 1986 model with a bag full of spares with the bike and the original Yamaha key that fits all the locks. Is anyone able to tell me what one of these is worth to see if I lost out on the deal I had? Hope to get your feedback soon. Thanks, T

Hi all, I've just bought a second hand FZ1N from one of my local dealers, at what seemed like a very good price of £4,600. It's on 07 plate, with 10K on the clock. A new pair of tyres, and looks in overall good nick. However, there's no service history with it, and when I got it home and looked at the log book, the (only) previous owner was one of these insurance type companies that give you a loaner while your bike is getting repaired following an accident. My first thought was it was going to go straight back, but then I started thinking about it. hi there i have a plastic tank under my rear seat of my fzr 400cc 3tj and it seems to b leaking i was wonder wot it is and can i ride round aslong as i keep topping it up i was wondering if its my coolent or anything thanks

i have recently bought a 1999 fazer 600 with 10,000 miles very clean but have a couple of problems when i start it i need to give throttle a small twist as it will fire but not start with choke alone also in traffic as i ease off throttle and on again bike will not accelerate cleanly feels rough .I have changed plugs cleaned carbs and replaced inlet rubbers as old ones were perished lovely bike just need to sort these things out, any ideas thanks in advance Dave

Our 1989 FZR 1000 Genesis. ran to work well. Pressed starter to move bike later and engine started to turn over then all electrics went dead. Battery and connections look ok, all fuses under left rear pannel look good. Where do we look next? anyone any ideas?
