HI i have a xj600s 1993 and i would like to put the clocks and head light off a xj600n i have clocks light yokes and all the brackets has any one done this as i need to know how to do the wiring so any advice would be great thanks Jason

Hi all, want other people's opinions on replacing the back tyre. I've just had my 6000 mile service and my back tyre needs replaced. I'm currently running on Dunlop/Roadsmart 160/60-ZR17 (69W) on the rear and they want 130 for the tyre and 29.95 for fitting. What is other peoples opinions on this? Am I getting the piss taken out of me or should I replace with a different tyre? Blah, the opinions, thanks for your inputs in advance I also had a wee look at the Michelin Pilot Power. Anyone had any experience?

Hi All, This is my first post, hope some one can help! I recently started my bike after the winter, it now has developed a misfire on cylinders 1 & 2, this has only occurred after the recent cold spell in November/December. I have also changed the plugs and air filter. I have checked the following: 1) Plug spark gap, earthed all four plugs individually, spark strong and blue on all plugs. 2) HT coils have been checked using a multimeter for continuity and were intact, haven't checked resistance. 3) Fuel filters cleaned and not blocked. 4) Throttle position sensor (TPS) is fine, bike idles at 1200 rpm and is stable when starts. 5) Fuel presen…

Hi all, My YBR 125 gets delivered tomorrow and I'm keen to break the engine in so that it gives the best power and economy that it can. I know there are 2 different trains of thought on this: 1, The manual says that it should be ridden gently and full throttle/high revs avoided for the first 600 miles. 2, Lots of tuners and mechanics think that they should be warmed up correctly and then given a good caning for about 20 miles on full throttle to generate the maximum combustion pressure so that the piston rings create a proper seal against the cylinder bores. hello! my first topic here! i just bougt a fz 750 88, when i got home i discovered i ticking sound when i give it throttle( can i say so?) sorry for my english! its not the valves, maybe the timing chain?? if anyone have some information about things that can be time to check on this bike at this milage it would be great!!!it has about 70000 km on it. thanks!!

has anybody got one fitted to there bike? have looked at fitting one on my bike £319 in the uk but bought from california £165 plus customs charge of £27 a big saving but how good are they really, not looking for more bhp just more control over the fuel injection side

Hi all Just doing up a TZR 125 on an E plate. Frm the pictures I have found these bikes were sold without the full fairing set by the dealers, I was trying to find any photos showing a black bike so I can get the correct decal set for this model. HI All, new to the board and first post, although i have searched for solutions here and cant find one for this yet. does anyone know how to find out what the name of the colour or the actual code is for newer bikes? i have a 2009 YBR 125 and need to spray some of the panels and mudguard but have had no luck getting a match on the colour code so far. I have seen red mudguards on ebay which state vivid red but not sure if there was more than one red produced or if vivid is a proper description by yamaha? any help much appreciated, Rob

My clutch snapped on the way home from work today, and I've had to leave my MT-03 in town. Came home and tried to order a replacement online, but I can not find any where listing a clutch cable for an MT-03!! Looked in my user and service manual for a part number, no joy. Googled my little heart out, nothing. Anyone know the magic number for me to order a clutch cable (and/or where from?) before I return to find only a chassis left!! Ta. Stu

Hi, i wonder if anyone could help? i have an aerox 50cc 56 plate. it is all standard except i have a malossi mhr exhaust, it flys of the spot and shows alot of power, however when reaching around 20-30 mph, it seems to loose all of its power and i am full throttling and it is just staying constantly at 20 mph.. does anyone know the problem and anyone know how i could fix this?

Hey all, Just a quick one bought one of those dan dan GP extreme exhausts for my FZ1 and now i need to remove the stock which involves taking out the exup valve . any one know if this will have drastic effects on the bike ? and will i need to buy a power commander once the slip on is fitted for re-mapping? Also what a surprise it didn't come with all the fixtures , no exhaust mount or tension springs . And after emailing them 4 times now finally got a reply saying there in the exhaust ..... which there not! so anyone know where i can pick some springs up ? Cheers Dan

Hi all im new , was on the off chance wondering if anyone knew anything about this model. I have a parts catalogue buts thats it im needing a piston kit for it as im doing a top end rebuilt but yamaha want £170 for the piston alone then I have to buy rings,circlips etc. I know some of the measurments 56mm piston i think the stroke could be 50.7mm but im not sure. Any information or links to items would be gratfully appreciated.

Hows everyone doing? Started work on my 1992 yammi RXS 100 today. Trying to fix a problem with indicators and horn. Anyway Traced it to the being the relay. Long story short. I removed the seat,removed the petrol tank and to my shock and surprise. I have no relay,well I dont have a round relay,which is what a mechanic in a shope gave me to try out. 2 in fact. one of them with 2 wires and one with 3 wires. I really am stumped,thought that i would have made some progress today but now more confused than ever. Have checked the Haynes manual, round relay corresponds to the pic,what mechanic gave me corresponds to the pic. but yet no relay. Doe…

I've been having a bit of bother getting my damaged mirror off to replace it with a new one. One of the hex key bolts came off no problem but the other is chewed. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and has a quick solution, other than taking it to the dealer. Cheers for any help.
