Im just curious since i dont know much about bikes but im about to purchase one Im looking at the history of a bike, engine number is 3HG002169 and states its done over 200000km from 1993-2010 after that its has a different number QE80000223 which the speedo only reads under 10000km from what i can see is that the speedo has been reset to new engine. do these engine numbers mean anything as to capacity size or the engine has been replaced with different a model? thanks

Hi guys, started to get down and dirty with my TZR 125, as its all new to me I got a couple of questions - The tyre sizes in the Haynes give as 90/80-17 on front and 100/90-18 on the back. Wanting to replace them both at some stage, but every time I search for tyres to fit it comes up with the back size as being a "front" fitment. Is this the norm for a 125? And is it possible/worthwhile to fit a bigger tyre on the rear? Many thanks in advance!

I would ask for some help here please. Me and my dad have both ridden our R125 (me on private land) and we both noticed the back brake does not seem to work. Either we arent pushing hard enough (I've tried my full weight (10 stone)to no avail). If this is normal and the pads just need wearing in or something thats fine if not we will take it back to the dealer since its under warranty still and get them to sort it Cheers guys all input is appreciated

Hi, i have finally got my dream bike, after wanting one since 1999! its a 2002 model, only 7500 miles from new, immaculate! The only problem is,im only 5 foot six,and i can just touch the floor with the very tip of my toes. Im going to have the monoshock put on its lowest setting shortly , hopefully that will lower it a bit. Am i right in thinking there is a bracket on the bottom of the monoshock, called a dog leg that can be changed for a smaller one to lower it further? Looking at the bike , it looks like if you loosened the bars bolted onto the frame that supports the back end of the bike , and the back of the exhaust, you could lower the whole of the back of the bike. …

Good advice required please. Recently bought a 2006 Fazer 1000 - which I adore and which runs sweet but has an increasing problem developing. It will suddenly want to die causing it to momentarily fade and pick-up again, and will do this for some time. A dianostic fault code appears, reference to which states: 'the atmospheric pressure sensor voltage and the intake air pressure sensor voltage differ greatly'. Can anyone please give me a clue what this might actually mean and how to rectify the troubling problem. I have to travel across Spain in a couple of weeks. I am mechanically fairly adept, but a real numty when it comes to electronics. Thanks club member…

Ive started to ride my YBR 125 into work daily and started noticing some light scratches on the tank (where you would normally stick a tank guard) but i have no idea how they got there! or if they were there when i brought the bike. I would just stick a tank guard on it but i do not like the look of them and wanted to keep the tank as normal. I saw on the net Maguiars Scratch X which by the you tube clips (not sure if its just a gimmik) takes light scratches and scuff off your paintwork?. just wondering if anyone has used this or knows a better way to deal with light scratches? Cheers Andy
