this project is close to an end and all i ahve left is this rattle/clunking noise in the cluth housing. i took the housing off to seek out the source and below is what i found. the first one is with the clutch plates off but the housing on. the second is with everything off and you should be able to notice the sound goes away. is this a normal sound and im "searching" for problems? or does this sound louder then it should be. the noise is just as loud with the cover on btw.

Hi I have a 2006 yamaha ybr125 and it is a real pain to start it turns over but will not fire up. When it does fire up it runs fine but then sometimes it cuts out and is a pain to start again I've so far replaced the plug and cap the coil and I've stripped and cleaned the carb to the best of my ability with the tools at home I'm now running out of ideas and any pointers would be much appreciated before I book it in at the local garage. Thanks John

I wonder if any of you can help me out. Took the maxim in for it's MOT and it FAILED (bugger!!) nothing major tho just the rear wheel bearings were shot. When I took it apart there are only 2 bearings inside and I thought that there should be 3, 2 small ones drive side about 40mm across and 1 larger brake side one about 45mm across, but was wondering if I had this wrong cos my XJ has 3 and I have changed them so know that is correct. Also I am having a mare trying to find a supplier for the bearings in the UK so if you happen to know who might stock them I would be eternally grateful as they seem to be a rare as rocking horse shit! Any help on this would be really much ap…

So my speedo has stopped working on my xt125x and I can't seem to find a new cable for it anywhere on the net :S Is there such thing or is the fault lying somewhere else? Everything else like RPM is reading fine it's just my speed that isn't showing. It's reading 0mph constantly. ANY HELP!? EDIT: I've taken the cable all apart that leads from my wheel to my speedometer, and it's nothing like has been described, it's like 4 different coloured wires that lead to a connector that connects to another set of wires that go to my main console :/

BUT (there's always a but) now when I give my bike some throttle, the revs are staying high and taking a while to come back down to the right idle RPM. Any help?

Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade my headlight to a H4? Would a replacement fitting go straight into my '94 SR? H4 bulbs are so much easier to get hold of!
