    Hi guys I am looking for a diagram to set up the cables from the YPVS to power valve and to Two T oil pump, I have searched the manual and I cannot see any instructions or pictures of this can anyone help please Cheers Ray D

    Hello, I am replacing the clutch plates on my DT125 R and I am confused because 1 out of the 7 plates is slightly smaller than the rest. I have looked at my old ones and they too have one smaller than the others. Unfortunately when I had taken the old stack out I failed to make note of what order it goes in and I have been trying to refer to DT125 manual but there is nothing noted on this. https://imageshack.com/i/iqa488daj Picture above shows two out of the seven of my old ones and the plate pictured at the bottom is smaller than the rest of the other 6 plates.     Hi all, new to this and have a issue that's driving me mad!!! When my ace gets hot it stalls when I come to a stop say traffic lights, junctions etc. runs like a dream on the open road, amazing power everything you'd expect from these. If I have my lights on fans kick in it's worse, as if any drain on it makes it stall. It fried a battery too. I'm under the impression it's the reg/rec which on mine as it's an early 96 is under the front cover of the generator. I even had it at a main dealer look at it and they said they couldn't find anything either, although they sorted a few issues that made it better but still not right.     Hi all second go at this as posted it in newbe section first.cut a long story short xs250 rusty but started,stripped frame ect rust treated repainted put back together .havent touched inside of engine but cleaned and painted out side plus new oil ,bike still awaiting a few bit so not working ,had compression by way of kick start but it lost it over night and no resistance to kick start.a friend said might stuck valve does any one have a diffrent opinion .cheers

    I removed calipers to replace seals. Connected everything up again..added brake fluid and started pumping to bleed but getting no resistance. Level not doing anything either. Could master cylinder be a problem?

  6. Hello everyone...I've recently become the proud owner of a 750 after many years of searching for the right bike!!! I believe I have a US import YZF...I say believe as I've not seen any documentation relating to this, but there are 3 wires running to the indicators if that proves anything? From memory previous Yamahas I've owned with the EXUP system exercise the valve when the ignition is first turned on, and I was wondering if this is the same for the 750 as certainly the only percevable operation when the ignition is on is the fuel pump priming the fuelk system. Any help would be very much appreciated. Also, would anyone know a good vendor in the UK to get OE…

    my xt125x has developed a squeak, only on tickover an goes away after a short ride... been told its a squeaky valve, but why would it just start squeaking overnight...it was fine the day before but more importantly, how do i fix this....i've not stripped the bike yet so not had a look at the valves to see if its getting oil. thought i'd get some more opinions first, see if you guys think it could be a squeaky valve or something else

    Hi everyone I'm new to this forum. I've come here in search of some much needed awnsers. I have a 78 dt 175 and it's driving me nuts! I've had the bike for about 6 months and I've gotten no where with it after a lot of work. So here's a sum up of what it does. The bike starts up very easy and make tremendous spark. The bike does idle but it's very rough and not right at all. I've cleaned the carburetor several times got new main and pilot jets and checked all holes to be clear and set the float height to factory settings which changed nothing.   9. Hello! I'm new here & so glad I joined the forum. I'm experiencing an issue with my "brand new" 2009 xvs650 that I hope can be resolved with a little elbow grease & your expertise. I can get it start but for a mere few seconds and then it dies. Dare I try to roll on the throttle, it shuts off quickly.     If anyone has any ideas fire away starts on bump but not button runs and rides but cuts out when i stop so far carb cleaned new plug oil changed tappets set (not perfect no feelers) timeings lined up fine ima slightly lost its slowly got worse since my daughter dropped it Any help much appreciated its my only.transport sorry if this is a repost

    Right il start by saying I'm new to the site and the yamaha jog so if I sound a little clueless it's because I am ... Ok so I bought a liquid cooled jog for a bet and a bit of fun but it's not without it's faults the lad I bought it from had advertised it as having a mid race 50 kit mallosi 3.5 rollers new variater up jetted carb and race pipe but he said it won't idle and that he had messed about with the carb so I picked it up dirt cheap and planned to use it for short trips to the chippy etc I'm not looking to tune it to death as I have my old vtr1000 and r6 as main transport but I've looked everywhere for the standard carb settings without any luck there's no 2t oil r…

    Hi everyone i am hoping i can get some help urgently!. I changed the rear brake on my bike around 2 hrs ago and my mate pointed out a massive hole in my swinging arm!. I am now seeking a 2nd hand swinging arm but their are no 07 swinging arms for sale on a certain site.... would anyone know if i could fit a newer or older model swinging arm on my bike? Thanks.

    I've been off work for the last week with chemical burns to my legs and thought I would take the bike out for a little ride today , so I haven't found the bad earth on the bike I posted about the other day, now I have no indicators today and about half way through my ride I lost my power band , one second It was working fine then ( no power band ) it revs up fine and just as its about to kick in it just goes does nothing , the bike runs fine other than that, no spluttering or anything , now just a thought but could all this be down to a bad battery or something ?

    Hi guys haven't been on here for a while due to my bike running ok in need of a bit of advise I have a sr125 and it won't start it sounds like there's no fuel getting to the engine I've checked the fuel pipe and cleaned the carb there's fuel going to the carb but wen I check the spark plug it's bone dry does any 1 have any ideas cheers

    HI so here is a new problem I am having If I use the choke I can't start the bike, without the choke I have a to quick it a couple of million times before it stars, sometime it works better to push it downhill and start in second gear but even this can take several tries. Once I get it started and wormed up it seems to idle fine. When I ride it get this issue, when going uphill it runs out of power it seems, no matter if I give it gas.   19. Want to change from a standard pipes on my midnight star 1300 for noisy pipes but dont want to re map the engine. Does anyone know if I can get noisy pipes/exhausts that dont require the mapping the engine?

    Hi everyone, Does anybody know the thread size of the rear footrest bolt thread? For 1992 Virago 750. I need to buy some screw in replacement pegs but don't have a gauge to measure the thread. I have put a ruler and it looks like 10mm but wanted to be sure! Thanks
