Hi all I brought a go kart with a ybr 125 engine fitted but doesn't start up as it's not wired and I think parts are missing there is no spark when kick starting. Does anyone no what wire gives the spark of and anyone tell me what to do to get it running thanks Tom

Hi, wonder if someone can help me out, i drive a yamaha virago 535 but has recently broken down, i'm sure its just a small electrical problem but some experienced advise would be greatly appreciated. When i turn the key to on i get this triggering sound (sorry its the only way i can explain it), when pressing the start button it turns over but nothing happens, doesn't even give off the spluttering sound like bikes do when the are about to start, just turning over as if there is no fuel in the bike (and yes i have checked the fuel lol ). If anyone can guide me at all, any help with be greatly appreciated.

I need some square metal tubing but not sure where to buy it from does anybody know if jewsons or b&q do metal I looked on there website they do building stuff but not sure abut square metal tubing or a flat sheet metal don't need alot to make a wheelie bar

Hi I have a mt03 660, I quite often find a small amount of oil in the air filter housing, there is a drain pipe that comes out the bottom of the housing and comes put under the engine, it has a small plastic stopper in the end and when removed there is a small amount of engine oil that comes out, is this normal or a problem, any advice would be great. Gents, If i didn't know any better I'd thought my dics are severely warped but they weren't before I changed pads. Juddering and just plain bad and worse at low speeds. My money is on poor quality pads from Wemoto Thoughts ? Thanks.

Would a yz carb keinhin pj 36mm carv fit on my 1998 dt125r? I have one laying around and wounded if it would fit if I jetted it? Along side boyson racing reeds and dep exhaust? Would it fit? The in take is 35mm what's the dt's mainifold and so on.. Cheers guys!

I can get a DT 125 R wiring loom as I can find any, I've looked o fleabay, gumtree, google, amazon phoned yamaha dealers and they can't even get them in as an order so I'm really stuck as to where I can get one, although ebay has dtr looms they are from the 70s and 80s but I need an 02 onwards loom, I've tried foreign fleabays but nothing comes up. I'm really at a dead end in my project now as I can't find any online and I'm no good with wiring diagrams? Any help as to; where to look next, what wording I should use, anyone that builds looms and sells them? Hi, I recently bought this bike (XVS Dragstar 125) and everything was going pretty much OK... until I've noticed that the fuel tap is dripping gas. In the very beginning it was just a drop or two, now if I leave the bike (with the engine off) and turn the tap to the PRI position, the leak is constant. Same (although a bit less) is if I set the tap to the ON position when the bike is actually on; the fuel is flooding the carb and possibly the engine as well, as I can see the bike struggling to turn on. I got hold of the service manual, but it tells me to turn the tap to the off position before removing the tank or the tap itself... too bad that the bike does not hav…

My bike recently had work done by a so called "friend" and what hes done is snapped the end off my fuel pump so now I cant attach the hose. Is there any way to fix it without replacing it? Cheers guys

I have just bought my bike and keen to put in some white halogen bulbs although the manual does not say what type only that it is 60w/55w. Is the main bulb a H4 and what is the auxiliary? Also is it worth putting a HUD kit on for bright white light?

Hi All, well I am wondering if anyone knows how to adjust a Hagon mono shock? It has the usual threaded nut jobbie on the top with a thread that goes down to about half way and that's it really but the one that the bike came with was quite complicated and this looks much simpler but I have no idea how to adjust the rebound on the thing. I suspect that you just have to wind the big nut on the top down till it meets the spring but how do I know when it's in the right place? Any advice or even a pointer towards someone who might know would be appreciated, Thanks boys and girls.

Hi guys. Im trying to work out how i can use the below switch to turn the engine over, rather than using the usual button. At present, there is no starter button on my scooter, just the kickstart. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey guys got a problem with my "77"dt175e I've got a very poor spark , it started happening the other week ....what I initially thought may have been some bad gas or the main jet had maybe sucked up a little blockage ... I cleaned the the carb out thougherly like I've done many times but didn't help ... Then I started looking at the electrics and found I've got a very week spark , I've had the plug out many times and it only needs a little turn by hand on the kick starter to get a nice bright strong spark ....only now you really have to spin that motor up fast to get a little one, The bike is running if you can roll start it fast enough hard to keep it idlein…

I've just got a xj600 but don't know anything about it as it's my first bike and just taking my test soon but this came up at a too good i thought to not buy it. I've been told it's a 4br1 xj 600 but need front fork oil seals brake master cyclinder seals and rear caliper as bleed nipple broke off and previous owner had snapped stud extractor in it as well. My question is is it a division model or pre division or what any help would be appreciated as Yamaha il just said its from France and is a xj600s ? And how do you post pictures on here ?

Hey My bike has had an oil leak for a while now and for some reason it's taken me till now to find where it's come from... This picture shows the sump plug at the bottom, and you can see the oil running down from just above it. Is this an easy fix? I was hoping it would just be a gasket somewhere, apparently not. 2006 YBR125

Hi guys, i am trying to troubleshoot a problem i am having with my 50cc Aerox. When i am riding, once i get going there is a noise which seems to be coming from the back end, im guessing transmission somewhere. The noise is a constant squealing/sqeeching/grinding type noise, and is noticeable louder when accelerating but stays a little when you release the throttle. I have taken off the transmission cover and had a look around, i cannot see anything wrong apart from this: How would this happen? Hey guys and gals I have a 2006 ybr and I'm having some electrical problems. I use the bike to get to work. I started the bike on the morning with the switch, no problem at all, got to work parked up. finished work and pressed the switch and nothing happened. No noise at all. I used the kick start and it started first time. But also as I rid home I noticed my rev counter dropping as I reached about 6000rpm. The bike was mechanically fine. no loss of power or anything like that. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Ok confession time, I have never adjusted the floats on any of my bikes ! and really have no idea how to do it, hunted around youtube and found a few peeps doing it and followed their instructions and found it fairly easy, you learn new stuff every day don't you? anyway my problem now is that the FJ carbs should be 22.3 mm from the lip of the float bowl but mine are a whopping great 30+mm so that explains the fuel leak !! but in the manual it says that the tang should not touch or compress the small plunger on the float needle, so how the hell am I supposed to bend the tang down without it hitting the plunger? I mean it's already pretty close but if I adjust the float up …
