Hi, having a few problems with the PV on my 07 dt125re. So to start off, my DT will only do 60, even screaming it will struggle to hit 70. Now my cousin has a 93 DT 125 and well, the thing flies like sh*t off a shovel, I had a head start, screaming my bike and next thing you know he shot past me. My powervalve isn't working well at all, I have really bad mid range power, bad topend, but the bottom end power isn't too bad, the front wheel comes up at the lights(happy with that). Should I pin the PV open? Or how can I sort it out? If I should pin it open how do I do this? Thanks

Hey guys, brand new to this site as ive just purchased my second Yamaha today. As the title states shes a '10 yz450f. My question is, occasionally when in gear the bike wants to creep foward even while the clutch is in. Ive tried adjusting it at the lever but haven't been able to fix it. Where else should I be looking for thr cause of this issue? Thanks.

Hi guys, just a quick one. I just dropped the oil out of my bike from one plug on the side and one underneath. Im under the impression the engine and gearbox share the same oil. I filled the oil up from the filler plug on the other side of the bike. Is this the only place I need to fill? Will it fill both engine and box? Thanks.

  12. hey guys so I bought an EBC friction plate set CK2236 ( the p/n listed for 74-75 dt 175 models - which have the same clutch setup as CT2/CT3 175s and therefore DT 125/AG 175 models of the same era... however the original plate thickness is 4mm, and the replacement EBC plate thickness is 3mm so it seems that you can get different variations of the CK2236 plate kit? I had it all installed I didnt measure the plate thickness before dumping the oil in - so I wont be returning this item which really pisses me off.. can anyone confirm this issue of there being different subsets within the CK2236 series. was so looking forward to test riding it with a wor…

Hey all nit been on for abit working away so nit been able. I've a Yamaha majesty 125 that heat seized. I've had the barrel rebored from 53.75 to 54.00 no but the score is still there so I need to go bigger. My problem is Yamaha don't do bigger so a nee barrels the only option I don't really have funds to do this yet. Every time I put oversized piston yamaha majesty 125 a mbk skyliner comes up. I've research this mbk and watch some reviews On youtube all state it's just exactly a majesty 125 with a different badge. All parts seem to match on flee bay plastics, lights etc. This mbk does a oversized piston 54.20 mm so foes any 1 know if I might have found a last chance saloo…

Hi Guys Heres a mystery problem. Past week I've had an unexplained engine problem. Happened twice now!!! Nothings changed recently,( other than new carb needle and jets back in February) but its been ok since then. 1st occurrence. Rode bike home 7miles no problem. Got to the back gate, got off bike with the engine ticking over and used the headlight to unlock the gate. Whilst I was off the bike and by the gate the engine started to race away, nobody was on it!!! it was if some one had pulled open the throttle! My thoughts instantly was perhaps the steering whilst parked was somehow affecting the cable,, quickly returning to the bike and setting the bike st…

  19. [Now fixed] Waffling preamble! I've got a '12 plate YBR 125, and my housemate was complaining that my dipped lights were blinding her while riding behind. Looking at the angle of the headlight, it was quite straight, so I could see how it'd be possible. Therefore, I decided to adjust it. 5 minute job, slight tilt down. Done. Except now I have no dipped headlights, and I have no idea what's gone wrong. Main beam still works without any issue, as does the sidelight. What I do know is: both filaments of the bulb are still in good condition No obvious corrosion at any of the contacts What I'm trying to find out - in an "explain it like I'm stupid" style wa…

Changed my plugs today on the Dragstar 650. Here are the old ones, they've been on about a year, about 4-5k miles: rear cylinder: front cylinder: Any of you chaps can give us a reading? Too lean/rich, hot/cold, just right, or not? Anything else? Edit: these pics show the darker side (oooh, Darth!). They are a much lighter tan on t' other side.
