I need a front wheel for my yzf750, been offered a Thundercat wheel, though i notice the brake discs are smaller on the cat compared to my yzf, will it fit with different callipers as i need these too? I was going to use my yzf discs, but the mounting holes are different as well. Will i be better off waiting til a yzf wheel comes up?

My bike has developed a electrical fault,the lights wont work most of the time and if they do work then the indicators stop working so does the nautral light and there seems to be a clicking sound coming from around the battery area some times I know sod all about electrics so im loth to mess with em does any one have any idea what this could be ?. A few questions about a '75 SX650: What years were the deep sump motor, anybody have details on splitting the crank and converting to a paralleltwin like Triumph/BSA etc and what is the largets this engine can be converted to??? All help appreciated.

Bought a 1990 dt125r for my son to get about on, have deristricted it and fully opened the powervalve. Bike seems to missfire about 7k? anybody got any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it? Many thanks

I have an '84 FJ1100. Looking at a set of forks from an '88 FJ1200 (due to mine being slightly tweaked). Anyone know on interchange? Top (inner) the same at least? Thx.

hi there can some help me i have 1983 dt 125 lc mark1 the power band kicks in at 7500 rpm it red lines at 8 and kepps pulling right up into red you can feel there is more power there but once in the red it has to change up when ur in top there is no pull at all it just sit there. can anyone help me please i dying for the old girl to run right cheers.

i got a new set of carbon motrax indicators for my birthday. and at the time only got two (yes stupid but motorbike shop was dragging its feet). spastics! but anyway i had two motrax ones on and my od boring set and it worked fine. but no wi put in the second set (yes it really did take the bike shop 2 months to get a fucking pair of indicators useless wankers) on the bike it doesn't work. the indicators don't flash they just both are dimley lit. and you can hear the relay goin mad!! why is this and how can i solve this problem. i have tried getting a new really but no such luck as it is a four pin relay. i hav been told that wiring in an extra set of bulbs would highten …

I've just bought a fazer 600 (s reg) and the lights are terrible! I know there is a mod to wire both lights so they come on together but I'd still like to keep the full beam. Any suggestions on how to improve the lighting issue????

Hi All I did a very stupid thing. I have a DT125LC and the engine was redone, but the flywheel was pulled apart, meaning the magnets and the main center part came apart, STUDS removed at some stage in its life. What Iam needing to know is there a way to work this out again as I didnt mark it and now it has six holes which gives me 6 different ways to try, but is there a way to allign it without guessing?? On the flywheel is a number F3T251 and also a number 71 also another 2x11. The inside has 4 magnets On the round edge is a MARK "LINE" and on the face edge is a POP mark?? Any help PLEASE..??? Hi everybody, I lost my ignition key to my Yamaha SR 125. Now i am unable to have a copy made as i did not record the numbers on the key (Doh). So i need to replace the ignition. I did ask my local garage(nobbys motorcycles in rotherham) to replace the ignition for me, and he seemed fine to pick it up for me and do it. But after asking him to do this 5 times and him not turning up it just seems silly now asking him again and he clearly does not want to do it for unknown reasons. So i went to my local CMC in sheffield and they said that they would also replace it for me but that i would need to know whether it was a 2 or 4 type ignition. Now i pre…

I have a 1990 FZR 600 and when I put it in gear the engine cuts out? I was having trouble with it for about a week and found that wiggling the sidestand when it was up worked. Now nothing works. I presumed it was the sidestand witch which has now gone but when a made a loop out of wire to bypass the switch it still cuts out? Is there something I'm missing, is there another engine cutout switch somewhere? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I've been off the road for a couple of weeks now. C>

Hi, i just picked this bike up, almost for free. It needs a clutch and a tune up. BUT, the motor has a nice ticking sound. Any ideas what it could be? I hope its not one of the valves. The bike has been sitting in the previous owners backyard not covered for 7 months. Also, anyone know if there is body paneling i can get from a newer bike that would fit on mine? New to the forums and need a little help?. Just bought a DT 250 in bits put it all together but im a bit lost with the cdi wiring?. All connections are fool proof but lost with the black wires as theres two. now do they go together on the earth circuit or do they go thier seperate ways?. One comes from the cdi with the white\red and brown wires and the other with the black\white and orange wires now do they join and go to mag or does one go to the mag and the other to something else?.

Morning kids, just joined as I am about to face a long uphill struggle with my bike. Bought the YZF750 about 10 weeks ago, and its a cracking piece of kit. Previous owner had pretty much looked after it, and no problems to report. However, I marshalled at the Farmyard Party this year, and unfortunately my bike got washed away in the floods on Sunday evening. Although t's been recovered, it is now a silty mess in pieces all over the house. Hi all Picked up a hugger for my YZF750R recently and need some suggestion on fitting it. There are 2 holes either side which are straight foreward to locate and mount, 1 for the chain guard and 1 directly opposite. How can I secure the part of the hugger that sits on the swingarm nearest the shock? Regards Cone
