Hi! am considering fitting the engine from a y reg tdm into a h reg tdm. is it possible and if so what, if any, modifications/changes will be required? Lee Also if anyone has a complete engine for my old tdm please get in touch.

Hi, my name is Rijal, from Malaysia; currently owning a Yamaha TZM 150 year 97. I have this problem with its electrical whenever riding. Sometimes it works and sometimes it did't; but the engine still keep running whenever there's no electricity. The downside is whenever this happens the bikes power valve acts erraticly, and the plug ignitions alternately changes but the throttle handle was held still (happens at above 5000 rpm). When I post this question, previously a day before that I was travelling from a Perak which is 230 km away from my home in KL. After finally getting the carb sorted out on my SRX 400 (1992), i took it for a ride last night and the clutch started playing up. I would get stuck in neutral after I had stopped the bike. That's a recurring issue I'm having that I just can't seem to sort out....If I fiddle with the clutch screw (on the handle bar) I manage to get it to work....that's another story though. Anyway after getting the clutch to work, I decide to fire her up, nothing happens...after I do that the starter motor keep turning over, but in a slow sick way, chug chug....I pressed the kill switch and the starter motor continues it slow turning over!!!!! HI I have just chucked my cat down the road , and it wasn't the furry kind. Having trashed the forks/fairings/handlebars etc , I am wondering if I can fit the front end off an R6 to the bike as these parts appear to be more readily available. If so any advice would be gratefully accepted. Thanks Munchie

NEW CARB INLETS FITTED. CARBS ALL CLEAN BUT NEEDLES WERE ON TOP SETTING I THOUGHT STANDARD WAS CENTRE NOTCH ANY IDEAS?. BUT FOUND REAL PROBLEM WAS SUPRESSOR CAP ARKING IN CAM COVER GOING TO BUY SOME NEW ONES

TOOK CARBS OFF TO CLEAN AND SETUP BUT HAVE INLET RUBBERS ARE CRACKED AND SPLIT SO THEREFORE SUCKING IN FAR TO MUCH AIR DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET SOME AND ARE THEY THE SAME AS STANDARD YZF 750R

I HAVE A 1996 YZF 750SP WHICH HAS FLAT SIDE CARBS AND IT HAS ALWAYS RUN ROUGH ON TICKOVER AND IN LOWER REV RANGE SOME HAVE SAID ITS NORMAL ANY IDEAS

Guys I do most of my own car stuff and want to drop the oil and filter in my bike. What kind of Oil do I use Normal Multigrade (Synthetic Y/N) and do I need to get an OEM Filter or are there any alternatives Cheers Eric

Help My wife's XV 125 Virago needs the fork seals replacing. My question is this where do I find any info on this as I do not have any workshop manuals. Do you need any special tools? How much oil and what grade. I have not stripped down forks before but have read about this it before for other bikes. Where do I start? on the info search!?

hi, ive got a dt50 stripped of all its wiring,i have the basic bits i think(black box ect.) its being converted to a dirt bike so i dont want lights,horn or battery i just need to know how to basic wire it up to get it running. its kind of my first stab at wiring a bike,so be gentle cheers

I need help I moved to france and took my fjr1300 with me now on trying to register it here am told there is a 100 bhp limit and my fj is a bit over that, can anyone tell how to detune enough to get through a dyno test ???? the operation must be reversable HELLLLP

hi, does any one know if the 'twin' headlight units (i.e. two seperate round lights) will fit in to the brackets and wiring of a 'single twin' headlight (i.e. one normal and one projector lens - like an FZR1000) on a 1991 FZR600 3HE import? I'm fed up of illuminating the right hand hedge at night, and of taping the lights up at MOT time. Please help!!

Hi I have just purchase the bike about a month back and i want to get it runing sweet. The engine was making a noise on tickover so i took the rocker to discover that the it requires shiming as the gaps are way out. I can not find a manual to do the work so i was wondering if anyone had any info on the matter. You sincerly Stuart
