Hi guys, and girls i have problem with my speedo on my Yamaha TZR50 '03, speedo is showing just 00KMH, it is electric one, digital, do someone know what i swrong or what it might be? Thanks for helping..

Need help guys. Bike going excellent till week ago. Loosing power on throttle at times. It's very intermittent. Last night I was parking it is garage. All the electrics went out. Took battery bay cover off but what ever I touched doing this power came on again. I wriggled connectors but cud not find anything loose. Originally thought throttle issue was carb issue. Hey guys, kinda in need of some help. Bandit is pretty much ready to go now but I still have this electrical problem so here is what I've done. (stock loom) So I turn the key (brand new ignition barrel) and only the front n rear lights come on even though the light switch is in the off position. And nothing else works, no starter button, no idiot lights, no horn........Nothing. Fitted a brand new starter realy....... Nothing, no clicks....... Zilch. Checked all the earth's and they are fine and checked continuity through from switch gear to everything and all is hunky dory. Thought it needed a Clutch switch but after buyin…

I have just resprayed my DT125MX and am looking to replace the stickers that were on the tank and side panels before the new paint job. I have attached a photo of the previous stickers (believed to be original). As I look on images, I see that all DT125MXs seem to have different stickers to mine. Mine is a US import and was wondering if anyone could shed any light on what the stickers should be and where I may be able to purchase some. Thanks for all the help Dan

Hey everyone, I'm one of the new guys and I'm in need of some assistance...If you haven't seen my introduction thread please check it out! Now to the task at hand...i have a 1980 sr250 I picked up a couple months back for next to nothing...it was in decent condition and I thought it would make for a rather inexpensive and fun tracker project. Anyway, I've hit a brick wall with it this week, for some reason I can't get this thing to spark. I have a mk1 dt125lc and having recently rebuilt the old engine,i am losing gearbox oil,fairly quickly.theres no obvious signs of it leaking externally so im presuming the oil is getting sucked into the crankcase (i would have thought it would run smoky but it doesnt seem to run too bad).i joined the cases with threebond 1104 on assembly.anyway-anyone with any suggestions as to a cure and how to go about it? Hi Guys, im looking at purchasing this 2013 raider. I notice the cable pulleys are exposed behind the passengers right foot peg. Why would this be and should this be like this?! HI all. I have bought an 1100 dragstar today. Was really happy until the ride home. I noticed some back firing and general running issues. When I turned the choke off after. It should have warmed up it cut out. This happened all the way home. About a 45 minute drive in Terrential rain! Aswell as all this when it did cut out it was difficult to start. After about the 5th time the battery seemed flat. So I had to bump it. I finally got home and have put battery on charge. I bought it privately sold as seen. The people seem genuine but obviously there are issues. Hoping that a service and new battery may sort it. Any thought or advice welcomed.

Hi people, please follow the link and listen to the noise in the clip. The bike has less than 5k on the clock and under warranty. The dealership that I took it to couldn't hear the noise....very aggravating. Please, please, please, have a listen, ideally with headphones. It cant be heard over the wind noise, but is obvious going slow and accelerating. Hi Guys, Just looking for some up to date info. Done a quick search and can only find old posts on the issue. I have a Yamaha XT 125X and I seem to have the speedo issue that i have read is pretty common. Initially the speedo was fine and then it would randomly stop showing speed and sit at 0mph. For the past few weeks it just constantly its at 0mph. The rev counter still seems to work and so does the petrol light. Not sure if its all the same problem but the neutral light is constantly on. What would be the best thing to start with, the cable or getting a new speedo? Would you have any recommendations as to what I should get? I just need / want…

After having roughly a billion problems with my Yamaha xvs 125, I got it fixed and has been riding a dream lately....until now. The last two mornings when I've tried the ignition the battery has died about 2 seconds after pressing it and I've had to resort to bump starting it. I put a new battery in roughly 7 weeks ago(2800miles ago) and I ride it daily. Later on in the day after riding 30ish miles I can start it up no problem using the ignition but the charge just seems to run out overnight for some reason. Have I been sold a dodgy battery or is something mote sinister going down, any clues I'd appreciate.

loving this bike...only downside is the early peg scrape...looking for some rear sets if anybody can point the way...or can I bolt on a pair from the c-spec...I don't think there much higher...im also raising the seat....going with a universal café seat from tuffside...fitted 720mm drag bars last week, any help on the rear sets woulb be sweet...cheers

This is my first post, please be patient with a 61 year old rookie, bought this bike about a year ago ran like scalded cat for about 2 miles then died. After my feeble attempt at trouble shooting, took to repair shop $700.00 later got bike back home, ran like scalded cat for about 4 miles And died again. Will not start, very week and intermittent spark about 20% of the time. Any advice?

Hi all On my 2005 DT125X (electric start) I have noticed a problem. When cold the bike will start first press of the starter (choke on). If I stop the bike at full operating temperature and restart immediately it starts fine. My problem is when I leave it for 5 mins or so when hot for example when filling up it really struggles to start, the starter is fine and it spins over fine just struggles to fire. When it does eventually start it runs fine. any ideas ? thanks in advance nige

Hi there. i am looking at a 2013 raider S. The owner is leaving the state and it only has 620 miles on it. The owner said it was knocked over by a truck in a car park. The right break handle is bent and some scratches on the exhaust. I can purchase for $7000 USD which I feel is a good price. Can anyone advise if I should stay away. Or assuming bike was only knocked over whilst stationary, is this a good deal? Pictures attached. Any help much appreciated, this is only the second bike I have purchased. Pretty new to biking world. I took it for a ride and it seemed ok.

Hey to all haven't had the chance to come on here in a while ,my bike was flying it until yesterday when after a short ride to the shops the top end is making a lot more noise like a metal clanging inside the head I am unemployed at the moment, so any help would be appreciated, basically I am wondering is it the big end bearing or a rebore needed,cheers jason

So I got myself some t-bar whishbone type handlebars from America and there's a manufacturing defect. One of the tubes that's welded on to the main bar, that goes into the riser hole, is at a slightly (like 2-3 degrees) off angle to the other one. That means when installed on the bike they don't sit straight with the triple tree. I can see it and I can feel it. Returning it is possible but complicated. The shop has offered (as one option) a part refund if I keep the bars. Anyone know if could take these to a metalworks shop and have them straightened?

Hi all I have purchased a 1990 dt50mx and having upgraded to a larger carburettor, air filter and full performance exhaust. The previous owner had said that he put a 60cc bore kit in it 2000 miles ago. However whilst I was testing it, it was lagging power and felt like it was being held back. Not long after that it stopped and I presume siezed. But not fully as I could still push it and the piston could still come up and down. I was woundering if I should put a 70cc big bore kit on it? I was also wondering what I should do with the oil pump which mixes the fuel with the 2 stroke mix. Should I keep it or just mix oil in the tank when I fill it …
