    hi quick question will the dep pipe be the same fittings off a 2001 dtr to the dt125 re? looking to buy 1 now looks crisp and a good price so im hoping it will fit ok..thanks

  2. Hi guys my names Scottie I'm new to the site. I own a 2010 xvs 650 custom and am looking for information on where I can get handlebar mounted turn signals. I really like the look of them on Harley's and think they would sick on mine. Any help would be awesome. I've tried googling but I don't seem to have much luck.

    i thought that seeing as there has been a few 'how do i ....' type threads recently that i would do a thread on changing a break master cylinder. firstly let me explain why i am changing the master cylinder.(M/C from now) when i got the bike a few weeks ago the front brakes where a bit iffy. worked some tiems, worked really well others and then hardly at all. so i was going to bleed the brakes and see if it sorted the issue but upon opening the M/C i saw there were some crusty floaters in the fluid, so a strip and clean was needed. 1 wrap the area around the M/C with a rag. 2 remove the top and drain the fluid, i used a syringe. and dispose of fluid …

    I have an aerox 50 57 plate , its all standard apart from a tt exaust . I'm getting around 58mph top end . Its there anything else I can put on it ? Or tweek , to get a bit more from it , thnaks

    So. Battery good, bike will bump start and when I press the button I just get the red oil light. Starter runs when attached to a straight 12V feed. All fuses appear to be fine and I bridged the starter relay, ignition off, (woo, sparky!) and the starter turned over. So I'm guessing this all points to the ignition switch? I'll check the relay as per Haynes guide lines tomorrow but anyone anything else to suggest? Cheers!

    As most of you know my bike has been experiencing problems lately, a lot of them minor but still a complete head fuck. I have decided to let the bike garage take it away and fix everything on it. When I get it back it will be 100% spot on. This is the list of repairs......... New rear brake disc/pads New rear wheel bearings New horn New electric start Bash plate attaching Stand tightening Sidelight bulb replacing/ fixing And the main problem of the engine cutting out and not starting which is either so far going to be The CDI unit, blockage, air, or water getting somewhere.     My digital speedo on my Yamaha Xt125 x 07 only shows MPH and on the actual screen the mph is printed on with ink....   9. I have a 1992 Yamaha XJ600. The dashboard was chopped and replaced with a small tach and speedometer which works just fine. The bike has been running fine and the battery was just replaced not too long ago. Here's the deal... I was riding through traffic and as I was cruising to a stop my engine shut off with my bike in neutral. Ok, so I tried to restart the engine... nothing.     Hi all, firstly apologies for this being my second post but I haven't had a lot of time spare recently. So long story short the stock front pipe on my '07 plate dt125x is in need of some attention. I currently have a Big One silencer fitted with a sleeve over the join. Infor regarding the front pipe is as follows: anti vibration mount has unstuck, causing a bit of a rattle, I think this happened Xmas day when I hit some diesel and dropped her. Doh! This isn't so much of an issue however I found hole in the exhaust yesterday, around 6-8mm wide. I was planning on changing the exhaust anyway just at a later date, so my plan has been moved forward somewhat. So my que…

    hello, had another post about this but it kinda died and whatnot anyway my bike has a really annyoing problem thats driving me up the wall in 2nd gear to 6th the bike just wont get any power, wont even speed up, in 1st gear all is fine and will work like it was new in 2nd it will slowly rev, and when it hits its power band (8k RPM) instead of turning into a rocket like normal it will only ( as best i can explain ) splutter, hit rev limiter or hiccup, its really hard to tell and with a loss of my mobile i have no way to record a ride out. the piston mooves a tiny tiny bit, but i really cant tell if the engine is making the piston slap noise…

  14. Hi all I have a 1977(poss 78) Yamaha RS 125 DX. Headlamp bulbs last less than a mile before the high beam pop shortly followed by the dipped.My mechanic has checked all the wires and corrected some earthing errors but it continues to happen. He has as good as washed his hands of it now. He did sugest the regulator could be at fault but I cant find mention of it anywhere in Haynes or on the web. Even Yambits who are generally good for parts don't know where it is. They are insistent that it is not built into the rectifier. Does it even exist?? I assume it must have one...if so where??? Is there anything else which could be causing the problem? HELP....seems li…

  16. Evening all, I know there are loads of posts out there about the bogging/dieing issue but I think (?!!) mine is slightly different... I run a website mapping byways in the south of UK and just purchased a DT125R to take mates out who are only on a CBT... The bike starts easily and has 11k on the clock (of course no telling if that is genuine) but when i took for a test ride it seemed rather tame. Anyhow.. purchased it and have only just got around to taking it out for a good ride tonight and its good (if not a little gutless) at low speed but what I don't get is as you accelerate you can pull the throttle all the way back until it hits around 5,000 rpm then it simply …

    Hey all, I normally keep my ybr 125 all tucked away under a cover but last week I ended up leaving it in the open for 5 days of rain, poor thing. Anyway my already knackered chain took a beating and it looks a bit rusty and has a few kinks in it. The bike has only done 5000miles so should really last more but I really think i better replace the chain and sprocket. Calling local garages it seems to be between £84 and £100 which, I being tight don't like the sound of. I think it needs to be done asap because the kinks cause the chain to bounce around and I don't think my 30 mile round daily commute will do it any good.     Hello, I have recently purchased an AG 100 which has had the clutch screw/worm shear, probably as a result of the clutch seizing. I am struggling to find a replacement clutch screw for the bike, am I right in thinking that the engine is the same as that on the RXS100? Any pointers to anyone who might be able to provide a suitable replacement would be greatly appreciated.
