My YBR was stolen a month back and only recently I've got it out of the police pound after they had recovered, police raided a house on a drugs search and found five stolen bikes in total and luckily enough my bike was one of them. After having a good look at the bike it is in bits. The steering lock was snapped They hotwired the bike and messed up the wiring They took the spark plug out They've locked the rear wheel Both side panels removed The vents under the tank were removed The clock casing was damaged And the front mud guard snapped My main objective at the moment is getting the bike running so I need a new igniton barrel, was wondering if anyone has an 0…

Hi all fellow Yamaha owners, I just picked up a beautiful 1986 Radian with ~26k miles. It was bought and priced as a not-running type deal. The previous owner said it hadn't been run in ~2.5 years. When I looked in the gas tank, I saw it was full of old gas and I feared the worst. I was getting ready to take the carbs off and apart, when I decided it couldn't hurt to try to start the bike. I tried, and it started right up. I was surprised. Anyway, after fooling with it and giving it new gas, I have detected a few problems with the bike. It seems like cylinders #1 & #2 aren't firing. Hello everyone! First, a little background. I have quit a few old Yamahas in my garage. I currently race a 75 MX400 and have many parts to these bikes. I definitely have enough parts to build another one. Maybe even two more. I have had the desire to turn a 75 MX400 into a street legal supermotard for a while now. I believe all the obstacles are easy to overcome, but electrical has always been my weakness. Since motocross bikes are all I have ever had, there has never been a need to know very much about the electrical systems. Hi all, I'm after some advice after buying a project XS250 (1981). I've cleaned all the carbs up and the only fault I've found is one snapped pilot screw which I can't really see how to rectify. Does anyone have any experience of this? I was hoping to try and run the bike this week but I reckon that's out of the question now

I have just purchased for restoration a YDS3 frame and engine number D9-1347 believed to be circa 1965 to 1969, can anybody give me an exact year model or manufacture of this bike? It is a runner having had the engine fully rebuilt 8000 miles ago. It needs lots of t.l.c to get it back to original. Would appreciate any info on this.

About a month ago I was riding around and my bike like spluttered and then cut out. It took me many attempts to restart it and I had to leave it to stand for ages. The problem seemed to of sort itself out after I used Redex. Now today after work on my way home in the pissing down rain it did it again the same thing. I was riding it and as soon as I gave it some throttle it died down coughing and spluttering, lost power and cut out. Then it wouldn't start, I even tried bumping it, then after about 20 mins it kicked up again. Then it died as soon as I got to my house (Lucky). Does anyone know what the problem could be? hi all ive got a yzf thundercat it has been off the road for quite a few years i have had the carbs off and cleaned them up, the bike now starts and runs ok, but with the fuel pump plugged in after a minute or so it starts to flood the bike up to the point where it dies and wont start again. but if i unplug the fuel pump and clamp fuel hose, spin it over full throttle it then clears the flood and fires up, with the fuel pump disconnected it will sit there running perfect and will rev up perfect and dosent flood up at all basicly has anyone had this before as id like to no if people have just unplug and bypassed the fuel hoses from the pump before the bike isnt rea…

Hi, the dash can go blank when riding. After a time riding it can reboot itself and start working again. I also found that kicking in and out of neutral can bring it back online. Any ideas?

Hi All, New rider (just under 2 years) getting into modding. Just recently bought an XVS650 Midnight Custom. It came with 3/4 V&H Cruzers already attached. I want to wrap the pipes and I have a couple of questions regarding this. 1) How do you remove the front head pipe in order to wrap it. 2) the pipes have like chrome sleves over them to hide the blue on the pipes underneath. Should I remove the sleves before wrapping the pipes or just leave it and wrap them, sleeves and all? Cheers!

I've just changed the oil in my 4T XT 125 and in the old oil there was a shard of metal in the bottom just like a coil, exactly the same as a corkscrew opener but a lot smaller. The bike has been running fine. Can some one please tell me what this is? I hope it is nothing serious. Thanks

hi everbody i need help , the tail light and small bulb in headlamp have stopped working ,main beam and dip ok stop light ok , hav checked the bulbs and they are ok ,the speedo also lightsup? Tony.

Looking at supermoto'n my 1999 dt 125 r found some 17 " dt 125 x wheels but my question is will my dt 125 r's rear disk fit on the 17" wheel ? I know the front won't not sure on the back Many thanks
