Hey everybody.... I am new to riding and dont know much about bikes so Im hoping i could get some info from you more experienced folk. I just bought a 600r 2006 and im noticing that the warm up time on the bike takes a bit long... Granted i have to give it time but the temp doesnt reach 100 for 15minutes minimum. Im wondering if this is normal for a bike thats been in a warehouse for a year and not gone over 40 miles on the clock... i have noticed taht when the bike hits 80 temperature and i turn choke off i stall out. any tips i would greatly appreciate my questions are: 1 whats an average time to wait for engine to warm up on a seasoned bike? 2 whats a g…

I am looking for a manual and a partlist for my bike (Yamaha 400 Maxim 1982). Also the type of fuel, filters and oil to put in the engine. I had opend this question in the bar but there where little replys. I know that in Canada there are a lot of this type of bikes. Please, please help me .

Hi All.I have just bought a highway hawk windshield for my 650 Dragstar. Unfortunately there is no instructions and the bits look quite complicated. The are 4 "L" shaped pieces plus four brackets. I am at a loss as how it all fits together so if anyone has any idea or you have fitted a similar shield could you either give me some help or even send a photo of the completed shield on the bike. Hi all Got a problem with my spyball alarm, need help Spyball Alarm 6527, with 2 key fob Went to my bike the other and the alarm/immobiliser wouldn't switch off with the key fob i was using, so i grabbed the other key fob and it worked first time. So when i was out i got new batteries for the other fob, installed the battery in the remote, ran through the key re-align info (hold big button down for 1sec then release then big button down again for a further 15secs and it should re-align), but guess what..... It never. So my Question is has anybody came accross this fault before? and/or does anybody have a fix for the problem? thanx.

Hi Everybody! I bought my new MT03 last saturday. Totally loving it! However, 3 days after taking it away from the showroom I dropped it in a carpark!!! DOH! It rides great of course - just a little tall for me... Anyway, I have searched online for aftermarket engine cases or covers as my rear brake lever bent into my engine case damaging it. I just can't find any! No replacements other than OEM? Tara

It has yamaha wrote on both sleeves and on the back there is a yamaha badge with yamaha under and on the front top,left there is a small yamaha badge with yamaha on it. It also has Billy Mckenzie's signature on the back. I just wanted to inquire that I have bought a 07 R6 Yamaha. I changed my exhaust to a devil carbon fibre exhaust on the first service of the bike (1000kms) To my surprise this sound is very low..i have ordered the exhaust which is a small exhaust similar to a stock exhaust. I have attached a pic I found on the net..it is similar to this..Someone told me that since it’s a brand new exhaust, you have to run it till 500kms to get the actual sound to it..is that true? Or did I make a bad deal!!! Pls advise. Thanks.
