Hi im trying to find pictures of my uncles old bike. He passed away a few years ago and i would like to find pictures of the bike he once had. It was a feature in either performance bikes or Super Bike Magazines, i think this was around 92-95. It was the fastest bike around at the time. It had an fzr 1000 motor fitted inside a 0w01 750 frame and a single sided swing arm from an nc30 i think, it also had a distinctive custom paint job with the Vance & Hines colours. The bike was called (THE BASTARD) If you saw the bike in the magazine you would for sure remember it. Thanks Scott

Last Sunday - 31st October - we got married! We had the most fantastic day ever - everyone got into the swing of things and all our guests dressed up in our theme. We had a brilliant bad too who also joined in! Here's some piccies of me and my new hubby Mark and some of our guests. Enjoy!

hi everyone. got back today and dusted off the XJ, had to jump start it but runs sweet now, drove it around a bit no problem and the clutch seems to have freed off a bit now. however, i parked it up and there was oil pissing out of one of the drain pipes (its a drain connected to the airbox inbetween the filter and carbs. there also seems to be a creamy white liquid in the airbox (oil+water), what is the cause of this and how can i fix it? sods law... first i have a bike and no licence, now i have a licence and a broken bike -Steve

Uploaded with ImageShack.us Stuff like that I'm assuming they wont work as good as a jacket with armour, but are they good as a little bit more protection on the front/back/kidney if worn underneath a jacket? Or are they just gimmicky crap aimed at boy racers? Any help at all is great

Hi everyone. I just joined today. I' Jim, did my cbt a week or 2 ago and bought '10 ybr125 as a runaround/commuter, got it because they've a reputation as pretty reliable and user friendly and i hopefully won't be able to get into to much trouble on it whilst i get used to 2 wheels and an engine. I hope to do my proper test in the next year or so and maybe get an older bike as well as a project and to use on sunny days once i've been riding a couple years(maybe a little 2 stroke i think). I'm not entirely up to speed with using forums but thought i'd say hey and introduce myself, i've already found some usefull advice on here and my only contribution back at the minute ca…

Has anyone used a HID light conversion on their bike? I'm using my bike daily on dark rural roads & every bit of extra illumination would be handy. A friend sells the kits & has recommended one but i'm not certain if its good idea. Anyone got any experience / opinions / comments??

The new Triumph tiger 800 is coming to a bike shop within the month over here. It is said that it will cost €9500 but that is only an estimate. Looks like a nice bike ! ! !

Evening everyone, Me again, after yet more advise. Oh the joys of being new to the bike maintenance game!! Took the bike out over the weekend and all seemed fine. Filled up and off I went. However, when I'd done about 90 miles, it started to splutter as if low on fuel, so I turned on the reserve. All back to normal after I re-filled at the nearest garage. My question is: It usuaully does about 120 miles before I need more juice! Anyone have any ideas on why this has suddenly happened? Cheers guys!

Hey peeps. for soem reason i had a massive urge to work on the Jawa today, so out came the shovel, can of easy-start and a foot pump and within no time it was exhumed from the weeds and shrubs at the end of the garden. now, one thing it needs is a headlight as i dropped a big adjustable spanner on the original one and smashed it... i need a headlight that measures no more than 7" wide and 5" high, which other bikes use a square headlight with those dimensions? preferably not more than £20 as im a skinflint compared to the XJ, the Jawa now feels small, and compared with the old DT the XJ is a tank...

  19. Hello everyone, first of all let me introduce myself, my name is Sam, I've been riding my 02' thundercat (UK spec) for half a year now. I have come to you in desperate need of help. As the topic suggests my bike is vibrating when accelerating in 4th gear. This is the only time it happens, and it vibrates lower down in the rev range, with the vibration being more prominent the harder you twist the throttle. As the revs get into the 7k+ range the vibration doesnt appear to occur. If I could describe the vibration, my closest description would be that it feels like something could be grinding. I'm dreading that it may be a serious problem with the gearbox, although …

I don't know if there is anyone interested, but right now the only true 'Race to Dakar' is taking place. You will of course know that 'Le Dakar' is no longer run in Africa (although there was a rumour that it might return this year - but hasn't!), in it's place there runs a classic event (under classic rules, rather than first-past-the-post). Take a look at the links, there are a couple of Yamaha's running, a classic Tenere, and a new Tenere. You'll have to excuse the quality, had to print the pic then scan it back in... The guy you see here on Number 5 is a mate of mine, on a pretty much stock 2009 Tenere (the forks have been replaced with WP40's for lo…
