Hey guys and gals. Just purchased a R/H side panel in black for my Ocean Blue Bike (dont ask). It was sitting on ebay pretty cheap, now waiting for it to arrive to see the scratches it has on it. I was wondering what would be the best thing to do. Sand the panel down, fill the scratches, repaint it and make it look like new then sell it back on ebay or strip and sand the whole panel down, spray it ocean blue. The only problem is where would i get a hand of the transfer stickers for the side panel? Open to your ideas? David

Okay so I have had "developments" with this sodding bike now... turns out the frame number given seems spurious (possibly)... I managed to find the original seller (3 months ago his sale was listed). Decided to contact him as I'm having unforeseen registration issues... DVLA Wanted the registration number of the bike, so called the bloke and he said :quote: Nah mate I didn't sell off the bike with a V5 at all :end quote: Sooooo this fat turd has sold me a bike he actually didn't have any paperwork for as I've been on the blower to DVLA today and explained my case as he'd given me a frame number... Now I know (I know 100%!) he has a "donor" bike and I'm curious as…

Ok, so I've been looking into volunteering in my spare time and came across the national Association of Blood Bikes http://www.bloodbikes.org.uk/ . The problem is that there are no groups set up in my area, the nearest are the White Knights in Yorkshire afaik. And after talking to someone at NABB, I understand that there are several people locally that would volunteer, but there is no group formed yet. I'm researching this elsewhere, but thought i would ask this here also. So my questions so far are. Does anyone have any experience of volunteering in a similar role? If so, what was/is your experience like? Does anyone know what is entailed in setting up a …

Hi all, just wanted to pick your brains on tool arsenal. All i read in the manuals is things need to be screwed to certain pressure settings. Well am looking to invest in a torque wrench really but am lost I was wondering what i should get? 3/8 or a 1/2 or should i get both in the long run? What am i gonna need most? Its just i dont want to over tighten things and then have trouble later on. And any recommendations on what wrench to buy would be nice too Thanks!
