Hi guys, new here so i dnt kno if if posted this in the right place :/ Anyway i have an 03 plate dt125 r and i am havin problems getting the bike going, it starts up fine and i let it run for abit then as soon as i pull of it seems to over fuel and stalls on me. Jus want to know what knotch on the needle in the carb should it be on? And the correct positiong of the mixture screw. Cheers pete..

Im looking to buy a good flip up helmet for under £200, any advice? I was thinking about the Nolan N90 (£199.99) which is a lot more expensive than the HJC IS-MAX (£100), the cheaper the better really The Nolan feels a lot better than the HJC just not sure if it feels £100 better XD

Just wondering what ye all think about mixing 2stroke oils with eachother ? You know,,,,when ya get to a garage and they dont have the same make (ie Silkolean) as ya were using. Is it good practice to mix different brands with eachother ? Sometimes we have no choice but to mix them. I havent mixed any brands yet cause i usualy have a stock of Silkolean at home. What ye think ??

hi guys, i recently got an rxs100, oh to feel young again lol... its standard apart from an allspeed exhaust. The exceleration is crap.....is it better to get a stock pipe fitted to make it run better or is there anything else i can do to improve eg raise the needle,k and n or? runs fine apart from exceletation......i would change the sprocket but dont want to lose top end speed of 65mph. cheers for any advice

hi all as some of you know im building a xvs bobber and soon il be needing an engine. but im not sure what to get, 4 stroke or 2 stroke? im in need of a 125cc engine but im wanting to be able to hit at least 70mph which means more bhp but at the same time i need it to be reliable. iv had my eye on a pitbike engine for some time now but its going to cost me about £1000 to be able to bolt it in and go, to be honest its not really suited to what im looking for but it is brand new and the parts are cheep plus its easily tunable! so my question is what engine would you recommend? note that il need everything to make it work like loom, reg/rect ect ect. and my budget ca…

Hi Team I am new here and wish to ask for advice regarding replacing my cam chain with out splitting the casses , do you have any advice regarding this ? (if no advice just check out me project) I need to check compression as it starts to smok after a long run, so will be opening her up soon and was thinking I might just as well replace the cam chain while im in there. I know it's no yamaha. But my little 125 ts is running messed up. Last week it was running awesome. I parked it then 30 minutes later it wouldn't start or run with out the choke. Then it ran fine with the choke on. After that it wouldn't start at all. I just pulled the carb apart and it was clean as a whistle. I sprayed it out with some carb clean, put it back in, check to make sure i was getting a nice healthy spark and it fired right up with out the choke, which is fairly peculiar. When it started it sounded kinda puttery compared to it's usual purr. There was like an extra little pop in it. Wondering what anyone thinks this could be. Not to mention, i could …

OK chaps, there's no right or wrong answer to this, just opinions. What makes a Good Bike Road ?? I purchased a copy of 'Best Biking Roads' a year or two back, mainly because it is waterproof and small enough to keep with the bike. The 'great ' roads are highlighted in the book, but I find that these roads are full of traffic, or worse..... So what makes a good road for you ? For me, I like twisty moutain roads, the sort that are full of pot-holes and little traffic. I like high passes and lonely valleys where the average speed is just right to enjoy the view. When I have the wife on the back, which means the XJR is out then I find I preffer more open…

Hey guys, Recently got a xj6-n stepping up from a r125, i really love it but want to et a bit more connected to my local brothers, so anyone in gloucester know of any good riding clubs to join where i wont completly have the piss taken out of me for being so young (23 and everybody seems to be much older). secondly, any advice for my girl friend who rides with me, she finds it a bit uncomfortable sitting on the back for too long and wants to know 'how to ride' with me. and thirdly... what cool mods should i look at getting done, i dont really want to change the look too much but i just want my little pig to sound a bit more fearce and get a touch more speed out …
