If your a poor oik like myself riding to work when its snotting it down then over the top with waterproofs with a velcro strap to snug them up so they don't flap. Right one on right foot, left one on left foot = Pass! My leathers always go outside. If Cruiser Updraught is a factor, they just get cinched tight. Getting a pair of 'trouser-blousers' from yer local army surplus place (or even online) costs a couple quid and makes them proper tight. Easy on, easy off, stash in small pocket, no worries. (Personally I believe they should be compulsory along with gloves!) The best horror story I’ve got is a chap last summer on Triumph triple wearing t-shirt, shorts & “Flip-Flops” wasn’t my best move pointing out his footwear to him!!! Good luck with the DAS...
