  1. Hi and welcome to the forum. Contact Paul Dawkins via the messaging service on the site. For a small fee he will be able to check the VINs against the DVLA database. If the VIN's show up, then you will have the registration number and you can just apply for the V5 via a standard V62 DVLA form. If the VIN does not show up you will need to get 4 things to get the bikes registered: 1) an MOT for the bike - They will MOT it on the VIN number 2) Insurance, once again they can do this on the VIN number. Contact lee@bikesure on the forum and he should be able to assist 3) a dating certificate - back to Paul Dawkins who can supply these 4) the form to fill in - these are V55/5 That, some fees etc is about it. Latest news is that you can ride the vehicle to the MOT station without a number place providing the frame is insured and the MOT is pre-booked. Check that all is current before you embark.

  13. Ok you kids never got slaped fine, I never beat my kids just a wake up call now and then ,,,,, with all the fucking little brats running around now ,,me thinks some of them could have used a slap now and then.. Might not be so many in reform school if the parents had done thier job in the first place, instead of sending them to school and let them sort them with no abilitly to inforce rules. My son is a good kid and I only have to look at him now and he knows what I mean . When we need to have a talk it is always no yelling alowed it a dissucssion I would never beat him that dosent work but a tap/slap in the back of head does. after all he is 14 and been in a few fights He can have fucking corn flakes or eggs for breakfest if he want's just depend's on how he say's it if he is in trouble. He knows better than to ask for things in certian company like that. To this I heard a good one the other day.......a guy standing in line a burger king had a kid screaming at his mother and kicking her for a apple pie in line behind him............. so when he got to order.... he orderd all 24 apple pie's they had and left with them all so the fucking little brat didn't get one LMAO

  15. Never heard of an after market fuel gauge, someone will be along now and say there are hundreds of them, is it so difficult to just open the lid and have a look inside? Most of the ready fitted fuel gauges have a gert big hole drilled into the bottom of the tank so if your feeling lucky then snag a sender off of a scrapper and see how it goes, you could of course just fit another tank with it already installed just finding one that will fit your bike is then the problem. Not much help I'm afraid but hope some of that points you to a solution.

  17. Ok fellas if you would be so kind. just got the monster up and running nothing to serious happening other than the odd rattle and stuff that will settle down once it's all bedded in, but something is annoying me tho and want to ask if it is a problem or can I ignore it? What it is , there is a puffing type chuffing noise from the left hand exhaust, it's not there all the time but more often than not. I checked all the valve clearances when I rebuilt it but it's possible I might have misread one, the plugs are ok and have a whopping great spark and the battery is ok, fuel is new and I have rebuilt the carbs so don't think it's them but just stumped as to what it could be. Found that the throttle cables are really tight and it is reluctant to shut completely off, I have them off at the moment and will be rebalancing the carbs this PM, but this bloody chuffing noise rings a bell in my head about something to do with this sort of problem but can't for the life of me remember what it is that makes it do this , hoping one of you might have a better memory. Thanks all.
