Hi everyone. I'm a new rider doing my training for my mod 1 & 2 tests and pootling about on my YBR125 Custom. My instructor has decided that I'm not a natural biker and that I look ungainly and unstylish on the bike but at 6 foot 3 they don't have training bikes that fit reasonably sized fellas like me. I just have to get through the tests and then bring on the Dragstar!

Hi to everyone on here. Thought it best I give a little wave before driving you all mad I've recently returned to two wheels after a long break and managed to pick up a very nice 2001 xvs650 Dragstar for those nice sunny days. Turns out my short legs are not comfortable with the forward controls so will have to move them back along the bottom of the frame so if anyone has done this before I'd love to hear from you other than that the bike is in need of general fluid change and that's about it as it's only done almost 4k.

Hi all after months of trying to get my XS250 starting and running properly I thought I had cracked it. Decided to take it on a local children's charity run of around 180 bikes. Guess the only bike to break down ? yes you got it my XS250. Starting to think that its either a jonha or just a useless pile of junk. Anyway I did manage to eventually make it there and back in one piece and look forward to another 10 rounds with the XS250 when I have time.

Hi introducing Truffles, (New Member) Just couldn't last any longer without a chocolate lab in my life, still missing Chunk (rip) but she is a hell of a distraction and has managed to fill a tiny part of the whole he left in my life.

Hi guys, I am a newbie. Names Andy. I recently swapped my old Superbyke rcc125 for a 2002 Yamaha sr125 and was really happy with it until 2 weeks ago when the engine cut out and refused to start again. I managed to find another engine, which I am fitting today, so, if anyone needs a spare engine in the Southampton area, let me know. It's a 2002 10f unit that has done 32,000 miles and comes with a brand new 0.5 over sized piston kit and because I don't know what is wrong with it, I will let it go for £50 collection only. I hope to chat to fellow SR owners who will know far more than I do about maintaining the bike and if I can help anybody, give me a shout.

Evening all, My name is Gary and I joined the forum back at the back end of 2013, when I managed to get hold of the first bike that I rode... a DT175MX. I have just started with my restoration in the last couple of days. I've not long finished restoring a 1969 Series 2a Land Rover hence the delay in starting the DT. I look forward to communicating with fellow members. I'm located in Perthshire, Scotland. Thanks for letting me join. Gary
