Evening all, My name is Gary and I joined the forum back at the back end of 2013, when I managed to get hold of the first bike that I rode... a DT175MX. I have just started with my restoration in the last couple of days. I've not long finished restoring a 1969 Series 2a Land Rover hence the delay in starting the DT. Hi guys n girls. Just joined realy looking for advice on my virago xv125 p reg. I bought a new air filter and removed the original tear drop box one i have fixed it to the frame in its place. It is fine but pulling away and in gear 2 untill i get going it stutters and will not supply full power. Do i need new jets in the carb or is there something i can adjusts to compensate for mor air Need hel0 as im not an engine guy Thanks guys.

Hello all New boy with new tale of woe - hope it's not bad form to start this way.. I have in my brothers shed an Fz750 (88 vintage) that has MOT and runs well and an XJ550 with a Radian engine (XJ598) that doesn't (well not often). There's a GS500 waiting to be turned into DualSport too but that's another story. I'll continue the 'woe' in the workshop section.. Cheers

Hi All, hI have been looking for a site where I can ask questions from any who have previous experience as there seems to be little info on the RS200, an example of which I have just bought to restore or turn into a little cafe racer style bike for my son. First question : Where can you get engine parts for this type of bike?

How can i get my yamaha card?

Hi folks. I recently purchased a 2007 V Star 1300. I presently ride a GL1800 Goldwing. The V Star will be my wife's ride, however, anyone who's wife rides knows who does the maintenance on the bike. This is the first Yamaha either of us has owned and so far I am impressed. I hope to be able to both give and receive valuable information from this forum. Safe riding all.

Hi All, It seems to be a common theme in the New Members section, but I'm also an older (but not too old) new rider. I've always wanted to ride a motorbike, so have finally taken the plunge. Did my CBT last month and have purchased a YBR125 Custom – have only had a chance to do 8 miles due to weather, but it's a start.

I am restoring a 1979 Yamaha V75 motorcycle . I need to know the colour code so I wil respray it.The colour is metallic green. I cannot get hold of the colour code locally so maybe I will find information here. Thank you
