Been away from bikes for about 8 years, having previously owned, kawasaki z1100, gpz 1100a2, zxr 750, suzuki gsf1200 bandit and a honda vtr 1000 firestorm. So as you can se this is my first cruiser, and loving it.

Hi guys, i had a en500 custom about 16 yrs ago & have decided to come back to biking but on a bigger bike & have decided to buy a xvs1300 midnight star 2012 plate & to use this bike as my everyday mode of transport, i thought i would come onto this site & say hi & ask if there are any cruiser groups to join for ride outs in the liverpool or lancashire area & meet like minded people also to get advice as & when needed. thanks frank

Just signed up...Member in a few other forums as well. current project 1983 Yamaha XT250. Just purchased a 1981 XT250 Parts bike to complete the bike. Wiring harness is complete but giving me drama. Hoping to get the answers here or sell it all off kinda love hate thing I guess.

Hi, I'm busy restoring a XT250 - 1983 model, but battle to get parts. Our local agents seems not to be interested to get me the parts I'm looking for. I have made a list and although I'm re-building it, I am willing to use alternative spares if the original units are not available. For instance, the rums are looking bad and while I'm looking for ones that are in a better condition, I'm thinking to upgrate the braking system from the normal drums to a disc system. If the indicator lights for the spesific model are not available any more, there must be some other units available that could be used. Can somebody recomend a dealer that are prepared to help me?

Hey,im Danno,From Iowa,,,I own a 81 Yamaha Seca 750,,& Im 49 & STILL Love Ridding my 750..When i was 16 i got a job at the Kawasaki shop in Newton iowa,,By 17 i was using my brothers id to race a kz1000 Down Eddyville drag strip for the shop,,Older fart now,,People see me do a "Wheelie"or see Just they way im always taking it to Top speed,,I take off my helmet & they see the gray hair & look at me like i have 3 heads or something..LOL

Hi folks, Nice to join you... I've just bought the little Neos Easy 50. Loving the little Yammi! By the way, Does anyone know which full face helmets fit under the seat. Mine goes in but then the seat wont close, which ever way I put it in!

Hi folks Scott here from Perth Scotland, I'm 31, Website designer/developer working in Edinburgh. Got myself a P reg XJ600N that I'm doing a full nut n bolt resto on and plan to use it as my daily commuter. Looking forward to getting it on the road. Will post pics of the build progress when I can but will take plenty of pictures and no doubt will need a hand with most of it. I was a car mechanic for a few years before moving into IT but tinkered with a few bikes in the past but only ever 4t 125s so this will be an interesting challenge Hope to talk to y'all soon!

Thought it was time to join in. I rode a lot many years ago but unfortunately the front of a joyriders (hate the expression but there you go) 4x4 made an upfront and personally painful welcome with me .After many years of repairing me stuff I finally managed to remember a bit of what I was and who I am enough to get back into bikes.Hubby bought me the trike and kept my big bikes stored but recently bought me a cheap not perfect xvs125,so I won't mind scuffing it, to try and get me back on 2 wheels so baby steps for now but hope to get my lovely 750xv out of store maybe next year realistically.
