Hello! I've recently returned to riding after a break of around 7 years (picked up the new bike on the 12th). I've previously owned a CBR125R, a Yamaha Fazer (the old twin flora pot headlights style) and a Honda CBR 600F. I've just bought myself a new Yamaha MT-09 Tracer which I've spent some good time on already getting used to being back on two wheels. Taking it easy as I run the engine in and re-familiarise myself for now Unexpected expense on some new bits since I have lost weight since I last rode, so a new set of leathers (I've put my old ones up for sale) and will need some new textiles too as those are too big as well. Can't find my cold weather gloves and I …

I've heard that you aren't a real biker until you've fallen off ... So in that case, initiation complete! (I'm completely fine by the way!)

I'm Doc and reside in Tucson, AZ. I am purchasing a 2008 1300 V-Star 1245 miles. Fuel pump, lines, tank cleaned, and new belt. 3500.00. It's beautiful. I am joining because I just came across the forum and the 1300 knowledge seems to be elusive. I am a seasoned, novice rider. I've on a 2008 ZX10 1983 KZ 550 1983 KZ1000. I'm a vet, student, and work in behavioral health. Look forward to learning and sharing. DOC

Good Morning. I am not new to dirt bikes but I am new to Yamaha. I just rescued a 1980 DT125 and I am going to try and get it going for my son. It looks like someone has pulled some parts off of it so I will have to figure out how it was originally set up. Thanks for any help going forward!! Jason PA

Hey guys, Just got my first motorbike. It's a Yamaha DT125RE 2007. I've been driving a car for four years now and I'm really bored. I hate other drivers and I feel trapped on the road. What to do? Get on the bike chain and become a biker! I plan to make video's all the time on YouTube as I have just bought an action camera. Here's my first try! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s207Y7xZMKY Nice to meet you all! Cheers.

Greetings from Warsaw, Poland. Lived here 18 years now. Have dreamed of a Harley or something Harley-like ever since hitting my mid-life crisis some 15 years ago, then filed it under 'impossible dream' and left it there till last August. The Polish government passed a law allowing all drivers with normal car licence (Cat.B) ride a motorbike of up to 125cc/15BHP. GREAT! So I bought a bike to learn on (Derbi CrossCity 125 which I highly recommend once it has a decent set of dual-sport tyres on it), with the ambition of doing a full Cat. A course and test. Anyway - this summer I went to a local driving school, which said fine, but you need a medical check. No problems - I'm …

Hello! I've recently purchased my very own bike - it is a 1971 Yamaha HT-1B. It's a little 90cc. Growing up my dad and uncles were really into bikes. I was born in the Philippines and my grandpa and uncle had a motorcycle and side car business (used as taxis to pick people up and give them rides jnto town). My dad was into Hondas (he had a 1990s xl, not sure of the engine size). Recently I've gotten the itch to get my bike because my boyfriend and his dad are very interested in them. My boyfriend has about 5 he's purchased in th last few years and his dad has about 35+ he's collected over the years. They like to rebuild vintage bikes, mostly Hondas. This summer my boyf…

Hello to all, I am a long time lover of the Yamaha motorcycles. I started in High school where I bought my first Enduro 175 to the tune of $36.00 per month. My first loan from a savings and loan bank. I then graduated up to a 1989 Honda shadow 1100. Then got me a wife and had kids, sold the bike to make room for my first born. Fast forward 15 years later I start out with a brand new Vstar 1100. Man I loved that bike, I put those little crappy tyamusuki cheap hard bags on it. I removed the seat and cut out the foam and placed gel padding in there and recovered it with ostrich simulated gray vinyl. (Boy I thought i was somethin, haha). Anyway I started riding with a s…

Hi all Have just joined so howdy! Have an 1990 registered 350 F2 which is lovely and clean, runs well and has just over 19000 miles on. When under load, it has a slight hesitation from about 5000 to 6000 revs. When it clears 6000 it really flies! Just wondering if anyone has any ideas please? Cheers guys.
