  1. Started by Lha,

Hey,guys, I'm Lha. I've been riding for 47 years, all brands, sizes. Since I retired,I got three Yamahas,A '74 Dt 125 with At3 motor,a '75 Dt400,and an Xs400 Rj seca. I'm currently working on the Dt 125,and it's slow going. I have changed my Daughter's room into an assembly room while she's away at College, but an injury sidelined me for a while. Nice to be on the site!

  2. Started by Trevor Lloyd,

Hi, I'm Trevor, live in Southend, Essex. I've just sold my pristine 01 Bonneville in exchange for a Yamaha XVS650 also pristine with only 3k on the clock. It's a 52 reg import from the US. My exchange may surprise a lot of bikers, certainly did my Triumph colleagues, but I like change. I'm sure I'm not the only biker out there like this - am I? My 650 is a delight to ride and has enough power (for me) and has both rider and pillion back rests. I absolutely love it (at the moment). My long term bike is a 1954 Sunbeam S8 which was made the same year as me but is in considerably better condition!

  4. Started by Malleus,

Hi everyone, I am new here, and new to using forums in general. I have been riding for almost 2 years and currently own a 2010 YBR 125. I feel I would like to stick with Yamaha, over the past 2 years I have trained on a FZ6 and XJ6 and loved both of them. I have always been an amateur engineer, not so bad when I am fixing PC's/DVD players, but figured I would join for advice from more experienced people as if I mess up it could be painful!

  8. Hi..ok well recently bought a bike with the aim of complete restoration in mind....found what was advertised as dt125...bike has be used off road and has no reg or v5....the guy seemed quite genuine and assured me the bike was legit, gave me a full receipt and after all i know where he lives if it turns pear shaped on me. So basically before i put any time or effort into it.im trying to find some history...spent hrs on the internet and so many conflicting answers about matching unmatching 9 digit vin and engine numbers...so id be really gratefull with any help in finding out what year and model the bike actually is...i have a frame number 3TT0950** and an engine number 3…

Just thought i would be polite and say hi! I ride a 2009 YBR 125 on the road and a 1989 Yz 80 off the road, never the other way around i promise . I am 17 and a junior IT Technician from Kent. I have only been riding on the road for 5 or so months therefor i still have a lot to learn however i have already grasped the fact that majority of the road users in this country are blind, inconsiderate and a danger to motorcyclists.

  19. Started by Steven,

Hello all, At 40 I decided recently to do my CBT and have bought a YBR 125. I'm working towards full licence now doing Direct Access. I'm really enjoying the little YBR, using it to commute on and at every other opportunity. I've put nearly 600 miles on it in 3 weeks. I should have done this years ago.
