    Hi fellow yama owners. New to this site. im from around Hastings area. Been ridimg R1s all my life. wanna say hello to all. going to the NEC on the 30th to check the new r1as I was very disappointed with yama since 2009 so fingers crossed this could be my next bike. Any one else thinking of buying it?

  2. The problems I am having with the motorcycle is its struckling to start and is only firing on one cylinder but I took to a garage and they changed the spark plugs and cleaned the dirt out of the car and ran okay for three days and then it started lagging again what could be the problem

    Ive been thinking about what i could do to modify my ybr 125 to make it look a bit better. Ive put a fly screen on which has improved it but i dont know what else i coud do any suggestions?

    The headlight of my YBR125 is awfull. Can anyone recommend a better bulb than the standard craps? Also, can you put a higher wattage bulb in the headlight, than the standard h4 35w/35w? Cheers!

  5. Hi I've purchased a beautiful r6 2007, a month after the error code 20 started showing(air sensor stuff) Returned it to shop, where I'm paying a three yeAr warranty off monthly. They have had it numerous times now, replacing sensor wires/air filters box. Nothing has rectified the error, only made it worse...bike runs fine, just a little sluggish on start up to get warm when error code is on, if it does not come on it sparks up beautifully like the beast she truly is. So I'm over it and want to cancel my warranty, surely I can without having to fork out another cent, as they have not been able to solve it..( call themselves mechanics) bit scary!   6. Hey all new to the forum, I was wondering if anyone else here has a MT-01 like myself and what they think of the bike. It was my first bike and I love it. So does pretty much anyone else who sees it. It's unique looking and the sound and power is intoxicating. That's my impression of it anyways. Also, since I'm having a hard time to find aftermarket parts and accessories for this bike. Anyone know of a good site/store. Especially someone that ships to Canada. Right now I'm looking for get a Rear spool stand, but not sure if it will fit my MT-01. Thanks all and ride safe. Afrowookie

    Hi guys. I got a fj1200 last month, stood for 2years. Well, got the bike, fitted rings, spark plugs and cleaned the carbs. When trying to sync the carbs, it doesnt idle. Mixture screws is 2 turns out, float correct, jets(pilot and main) newly fitted. Bike runs well if I close the intake of the 4th cylinder carb. Gas going to all the carbs, Struggles to start as well. while i am keeping the bike running with the accelerator and sprying some engine start on carb no 4, it runs well for a few seconds. Took the carb apart, and now if I crank the engine, gas spits out of the air jet. WTF! any anwsers?

    we're just issued this mc,DT125 O1W, when i tried to start the engine,it starts but with alot of smoke coming from the pipe. and also it doesn,t have idle, you need to always throttle it to keep the engine running. what is wrong with this bike?

  12. hi this my first post an my first yamaha tzr 125. well the problem is wen i ride the bike its got no power till 7000 revs an then the power will kick in. i find my self holdin in the clutch till 7000 revs an then lettin it out to get power [only done it a few times no more than 5]only had the bike 1 week to this date 17/03\10 ride it once. so can any one help or give me some info i think its got some thing to do with the power valve [correct me if im rong] i think its stayin open or something my m8 who i got it off has had the head an barrel skimed an new pistion an rings be for i got it an i think thats wen the prob started. its a 1990 model any help i will be very great…

    Me again, what brake pads would you recomend for the diversion, i hve seen EBC and ferrodo for £35 a set are these the ones to have or do you guys in the know use something else. I only use the bike for commuting and rarely go that fast so dont need racing jobbies. Thanks, Gary

    Hi all, I have just bought a 1997 XJ 600 s diversion, its immaculate with 12000 miles on it. In the last year it has done 30 miles and the year before about 100. when the owner started it before I went to look at it it would not tick over under 2500 revs he drained the carbs and then gave it a run and it now ticks over fine but is a little bit lumpy in the lower (up to about 3500 rpm) rev range. I am assuming the carbs need cleaning but I dont want to take them apart. Is there any petrol additive anyone can recomend that I could try to see if that would cure the problem before having to get the carbs cleaned. Thanks in advance, Gary

  18. I just bought a 1996 XJ600 Seca II With 8,000 miles on it. When I got it it tried starting but wouldn't (carbs needed cleaned). Yesterday I spent all day very thoroughly cleaning the carbs, gas tank, petcock, blasted out all the fuel lines. I then reassembled it and tried to start it, I had to try cranking it for almost 20 minutes before finally it started. I rode it about 80 miles last night then parked it. This morning I go out to get on it and it wont start, Ive checked the ignition system and I have good spark on all 4 plugs. Tried jumping it off (in case the brand new battery was weak), didn't help. I definitely have fuel being pumped from the tank into the carbs and…

    Hi guys, i started a topic about this before, but im not sure i completely explained what i wanted Ive got an xj600 95 plate, and i want to raise the back end to make it look more of a streetfighter. Only problem is, i cant find any kits to achieve this, is there another shock from a different bike that i could use? or does someone know another way? Cheers in advance

    Hi guys, As the title says: i have an overheating problem with my '92. Diversion. Obviously there isn't much to be done about it since it is an air-cooled engine but i was hoping to get any useful advice. I live in a warm region on the Adriatic sea, with high summer temperatures, so during the summer my bike gets so hot after 2 minutes of riding that it chokes whenever i'm under 3,500 rpm (causes a lot of uneccesary traffic-light-to-traffic-light racing due to the fact that every other bike thinks i'm teasing them). after 8 years i got used to this problem but i feel that there must be something that can be done about it.
