Hi, ive recently bought a YZF R125 and I need it to pass its MOT where can you buy a Front Brake Light Switch as i can not find one for the YZF R125, they were so easy to find when i needed to replace them on my Aprilia Sr 50cc. Btw I live in the UK. Thanks

Ok, a local shop- http://4wheelonline.com is offering me a good price on a Yoshimura TRC-D carbon fiber slip-on. Just curious if carbon fiber will fade over time because I’ve read some reviews that CF cans has a tendency to go faded due to heat. Anyone experience the same thing? Also, does anyone have this kind of exhaust? Thanks guys.

i,ve recently purchased a 2006 fz 6 fazer 600, although due to the crap weather i,ve yet to try it out. with regard to the headlight s, the left hand light facing forward seems to be permanent dip,whilst the right hand light comes on full beam when switched, but otherwise is unlit....obviously the two small side lights are on constantly....is this as it should be cheers ,mike

Noticed today on my way to work that the speedo has stopped working & just sits at 0mph (everything else on instrument panel works fine apart from odometer). I know the speed cable has a connection box under the tank which I'm hoping may have come loose when my braided steel lines & risers were added on Saturday, but was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar before I start dismantling the bike? Any comments would be appreciated, Graham

Hi all.Im looking at putting r6 headers on my 2010 xj6n but do i have to get the 5sl 2003-2005 headers or will the 5eb 1999-2002 headers fit.They look the same in the pics on ebay but wondered why people say 2003-2005 only.Thanks .

Hello, i have a '05 YBR125 and i have a problem with it. It tops out at 90km/h and the fuel consumption is 5l/100km which is too high as far as i know. What could cause this? I have +1 front sprocket. I have cleaned the carb and air filter, also i installed a new spark plug.

Looking at exhausts for my mt03 and these seem to be a fair bit cheaper than the usual suspects . Any experience of these on here ? One drawback is that they aren't road legal !

Hey everyone I'm hoping this is in the correct section & i'm hoping it's aneasy one. Been doing some digging to swapping my exhaust from the one I have now to something abit more throaty, which I was thinking decat the bike & happy days but this is a tough one as can't find the parts. After a couple of hours of looking I have found that 03-05 r6 headers with some form of link pipe & a slip on can will do the trick once I have bent a pipe so the header doesnt catch the sump. Where could I get a link pipe & how would I be able to mount a slip on to a link pipe & is there such a thing that exists? How will the lamda sensor plug in? Please tell m…

Hi all . Other than the pics found in google images is anybody aware of images of modified XJ6n's ? There is a blue and white one that i believe is in Fiat sponsor GP colours and the stunt concept bike with its garish colours and crash bars , other than that its all exhausts and well , nothing really to inspire me to do anything similar with mine . Yes, got some ideas, had a look at other models of bike but it is always worth a look at what others have done to the model of bike you own . Evening all , I've said a quick hello in the welcome section but would like some advice on mods for the mt 03 . So far it's completely standard but I plan on fitting a power commander and a set of aftermarket pipes . I could wait until a set of secondhand arrows or akropovic come up for sale sh or I'm tempted with some of the stainless Mivv cans . Does anyone have any experience of these ? Quality , sound and power ? Other mods will be a spray job and a screen .

Hi guy's sorry about my first post I'm a newby so thought it asked for my bike's body number lol. But I bought this bike a few days back and drove it around a few times then suddely it won't start,the starter doesn't turn as far as it use to so the clocks won't come on and the electric starter button does not work because the starter doesn't turn far enough for the startermoter to kick in? I hope you have a few pointer for me to look at before I send it in to Yamaha for a check up to save a few rand cause I am still in school. Thanks and drive safely

Hello, in first time, sorry for mine english, I am from Czech rep. and I still learn . So, I have small problem with mine old lady - Yamah Xj 550 1986. If i start bike, I hear some noise from Cam chain from motor. This noise, I hear only if bike is cold. If I ride some 10km and motor is hot, this noise is gone. Is there any way to raise or lower the engine's idle speed on a 2009 XJ6 diversion? Currently it idles at 1000rpm but I feel it could do with raising by about 100-200rpm. There doesn't appear to be an manual idle adjustment screw that I can find on the l/h side of the engine, so is it permanently set by the ECU? Cheers for any info.

Hi guys, Riding in the rain the other day, had to go through a large puddle. Just after that I had to slow down for s roundabout. Got a horrible screeching noise from what sounded like the front end. I thought it might be the front pads because of the puddle. But, going home it did it again, no puddle, bone dry. When on the overrun again. I started to think exup valve. Did it twice today, similar circumstances. It only seems to do it once each way on my commute, but this is regular now. Any ideas ? I've lubricated outside the exup, are they maintainable ? Cam belt, chain wouldn't make a noise like that without being fatal I hope ... T.I.A Smoker
