  1. Looking for some parts help. My son has a 2004 Yamaha V Star 650 Silverado. The other day after a ride he parks the bike and 2 days later he tried to start it. It would not start. It runs less than 5 seconds and quits. We have did the following. 1. Drained the tank and made sure it had fresh gas. 2. Replaced the spake plugs 3. Tried to start it with starting Fluid. I think maybe we need a new fuel pump and filter. Been on line and the prices got from $15.00 to $150.00 for the pump. I can't seem to locate the part number for that year and what do you guys thinks about the cheaper parts? Comments or suggestions please.

Hi guys, i bought myself a dragstar last year (first time ive had a bike in a while), she is a nice looker with a vance and hynes exhaust system and sounds superb. I noticed that at higher speed when i released the throttle she would pop back through the exhaust, but was very loud. I was told to get a manometer and set the carbs up which i have done. I ride up the street and she runs beautiful with no backfiring atall. But when shes ticking over and i rev her, she will give a loud pop and sometimes you can see flames in the back of the exhaust? i assume this isnt normal or am i wrong? Any help or advice appreciated

Hi guys, I'm new here and after a bit of advice. I haven't passed my CBT test yet but hoping to in the next month or 2. I'm researching a good bike as my first one, and the Yamaha R3 has come up quite a lot. Originally i was thinking the Ninja 250 or 300 but after researching I've read their very uncomfortable. I am a short guy at 5 foot 3 and I'm looking for something suitable for my height. Any suggesstions would be muchly appreciated, thanks.

I have a 2017 FZ-07 with a little work done to it performance wise but i am looking to go full fairing. Ive seen all the debates on the R6 vs R1 but i want more opinions based on my experience. Ive been riding dirtbikes my whole life and just last year bought an fz but it doesnt seem like enough. It isnt crazy torquey to me and apparently neither is the R6. For example ive had it to 120 on the hwy even with the shaking and i can do standups in 12 oclock in 1st 2nd or 3rd gear. My buddy has a 2012 CBR1000RR and i love the way it rides and he tells me just to get an R6 but ive ridden the liter bikes and i dont know why but i like the violent minimal throttle movements. I li…

My son had his YBR125 stolen, but has now got it back. The thieves took out the lock barrel and I need help with how to repair it. Has anyone replaced the barrel and, if so, how difficult was it to do please? Thanks for any help. (P.S. Sorry for the poor quality photo. It started out as a reasonable photograph, but I had to save it as a really small file to allow it to be uploaded)

In what year did Yamaha introduce engine (speed) modes to the YZF R1? What is the expected gas mileage in the weakest power mode? Which is the most efficient mode for street riding/highway cruising?

  10. Hi there, I'm new to the site. So a big hi from here in the rainy UK. I have an fz600 s2 abs 2013 model. I'm very fortunate to be getting a full, complete exhaust system free of charge designed and fitted by delkevic exhausts here in the UK. This includes new headers all the way to the end cans. But, I am also thinking of adding a k&n air filter too. But is there anything else I need to consider re tuning to ensure the bike runs well? Cheers

Does anyone want a pair of original fzr 600 wheels. Both with half decent tyres. Original 18 inch rear and 17 inch front. I'd like to try and swap them for a 17 inch thundercat or similar rear wheel. As I want to fit the hike with a Thundercat or fzr 1000 swing arm so I can have a wider 17 inch rear tyre. Thanks for you time Regards Dan
