i have cleaned the crap out of carbs, haha literaly, I saved the crap in a bucket if anyone wants some. Still having problems though. On the slow jet should i be able to see down the middle of it, or just the 6 holes along the sides? Air seems to blow through, but I cant see through it.

hi guys had my first service done on my yzf r125 and has come out not doing more than 70mph, before it was doing 78 mph, so i dont know what is wrong with it nor does the dealership that i bought it from, and to be honest i'm pissed off with it and may tell them they can have it back cos it aint upto the specs it should be, any ideas guys cos its really not worth riding at all at this speed. pleaseeeeeeeeee help someone

Hi all, I have a YZF R6 2000 model, 12k. I was riding on M25 in fast lane when the power suddenly died, almost as though someone had stopped the fuel getting through. I stopped and waited 5 mins and it started again. This happened again 20mins later. Rode it again 3 weeks later and the same thing happened. There was loads of fuel in it, and it still had a full battery so all the electrical power was there, just a lack of fuel sensation. Can anyone help me please. Thanks in advance

i have a yamaha pw80 and when i try and kick start it, it wont start, but when i bump it, it starts?? but then it cuts out on me, canny anyone tell me why it wont start with the kick start and why it cuts out please??

Hi Guys, Please say there is some out there that can help me? I purchased a 2000 r6 deltaboxII a week or so ago the guy i bought it off had to put a new set of carbs on as the previous oned had been dyno jeted and the brass bushes had gone so obviously the bike was over fueling! The new carbs are from what i can tell and what has been said by the seller are standard they still hav the yellow paint on the adjusters. Now the bike was runnin fairly ok but not perfectly cut out on me once or twice and had problems re-starting the bike it wasn't idleing neither was it reving! Hi all ive just bought myself a 2003 thundercat the chap i got it off gave a set of led, flashers the front ones were already on. So ive removed the standard fitted rear ones one at a time and connected the new ones up as the same as the old ones come out, but when i connect the new ones up all four flash, i tried connecting the old ones back up but the four still flash any ideas or help you may have......cheers steve

Hi there i just bought some led indicators for my dt125r and at first they were flashing way too fast and all at the same time, so i thought it might be the relay, so i got an LED relay and now they flash at the right speed but still all at the same time for both left and right. Help? lol many thanks.

Hi all, as it say in the heading, looking for a correct UK spec wiring diagram for a 52 plate R6, that the wifes has recently brought. Seem to be able to find loads of places that do the wiring diagram, but they are all for US/Canadian spec bikes not UK ones, can anyone help me out. all help will be gratefully accepted. Cheers Bob.

i have put 2 021 tyres on the front of my xjr and are very noisey has any one had the same problems

Hi everyone. I just started riding about a month ago and bought myself a 1994 FZR600R with about 16k miles (as a starter bike). Everything has been fine up until today when I noticed that my bike stalls eveytime I turn the handlebars HARD right. It happens when I'm getting ready to back up into a parking spot, or when pulling out of a parking spot, or trying to make a U-turn. Turning the handlebars hard left does not stall the bike. I want to get this fixed ASAP because I'm scared to ride it now. What if it stalls when I'm turning faster? Again, I'm new to bikes so please go easy on me. So if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you!

Hi there, I recently got a 1987 (i think) YB100 for free. And apart from some minor wear and some missing parts, it was pretty much all there. I am however missing some parts that are essential. Does anyone know if the following parts from a FS1E would be ok in the YB100? I can get parts for the FS1E a lot easier, and I am finding difficulties in getting the required ones for the yb100. The fuel tap. I can get a fs1e 12mm tap. The brake rod. Are they pretty generic just dependant on length and diameter? Springs for the centre stand, brake pedal and back brake switch? As you may realise, this is my first bike and im tackling everthing on it myself. All this befo…

for me "originality" derives from the word "origin" isnt?therefore its originality came from the factory design regardless of how many they are...so from my understanding when you modify your bike to make it different from others, that makes it "unique".. ok you can call it your "own design" because you made your own but the original design of it, is the "factory design" and you just changed it to your own... you are changing its looks,its "originality"to make it "unique"..thats how i call it..

Hi all, I have finally got my 1981 TR1 back together (almost) the wiring loom is on the floor but connected(!) when i try and start the bike it spits back through the rear cylinder carb hard enough to knock it out of its rubber socket!! I have checked the cam timing and the valve clearances, and these are fine, the carbs have been cleaned and appear to be fine (i'm no expert!) but it wont fire, I have spark, and have checked the HT leads are wired up correctly. Also the bike turns over quite slowly although the battery is the correct one, and new. Any help anyone could give me would be really appreciated!! Thanks in advance Andy.
