Hello! I´m mounting a DT125 motor in a kart, but I have to build a CDI, because my is broke. I have the schematic, but I need to know the ignition timing curve. I finded that at 1350rpm it should be about 17 degrees, but I need other points to build the curve. Can someone help me to find out the DT125 ignition timing curve. Many thanks, and sorry my bad english.

Hi folks, Need opinions please. Recently got my FZR600 (3HE) back on road. Ran fine for first few days. Then, first day I tried to use it for work, it initially ran ok until i stopped for fuel. Since then, feels like bike is running off a cylinder - very lumpy, really down on power, stalls every time you slack off at a junction. I've cleaned plugs, checked plug leads. Also replaced rear can cos original had blown out. But problem persists. When first started, bike idles ok, but shortly into journey it misbehaves again. During a journey, it kinda surges as if trying its best to pull as it should, then back to running like a dog. Anyone got any ideas / suggest…

Where can I find detailed instructions on replacing the air filter on my 2006 Roadliner? I'd greatly appreciate any info/response (even if it's along the lines of "This is how I do/did mine"). Thank you.

Well, I've done a few searches here and on the net and haven't found the match to the numbers on the bike. Can someone please help me with the ID of the thing? The number both on the frame and motor is 3M2-002470. I think its a Mid to late 70s YZ. I'd like to start gathering all the parts it's missing. I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks Brodie

Hi, I am fairly new to bikes. I wanted to know if anyone could tell me what the tubes are underneath the YZF R125. I can see the tubes are in the owners manual (pg 6) and located under "Cowling C" however can anyone let me know what they are used for. I have a small, very small amount of fluid coming out of the tube but only when the bike is stationary and turned off for a while, its hardly noticeable however there is a small amount of fluid on the floor. The bike is fairly new. Any help/info appreciated.

I removed all fairing and instruments up front When i removed connectors for the instruments and rewired and tied everything up The starter switch does not work new lights all work and bike will start when i push it. Looking at wiring diagram in Clymer manual I see a reed switch was something i cut wires on it was up front in instruments. It has a ground wire and a white/green wire which goes back to the relay assembly. Is this the source of my problem and how do i fix this situation. Thanks for any advice from the group.

hello all! im new to this so bare with me. ive just bought a 96 thundercat 16K on the clocks two weeks ago seems to be a real nice bike and i like it a lot. before i bought it i went for a test ride and it seemed to run fine, the exhaust was blowing("Y" section on downpipe but this has now been welded) but apart from that seemed fine. now im panicing thinkin the gearbox is on its way out. it does not jump out of second but it is slightly harder going in to second than other gears. its was making a slight noise and i thought it was the chain as it was quite slack tightend it up then rode it and there is now no slack what so ever, losened it, quick ride, no sla…

HI all, A friend of mine in Denmark has an 87 XS400 Seca that has of all things a small front fairing to wrap around that ginormous head light. Just wondering if (a) anyone has a source for said fairing and ( if it could be easily retrofitted onto an 82 Xs400 Seca the bikes look EXACTLY identical except for that one peice. thanks Ned Williams

Hi lads, Just new here and plan to stick around I have a TDR 125 - was on it today and its moving grand but after a while it starts to lose power . I got it up to 105kms today which is about 63 mile an hour. Next thing you know it starts to slow down on its own . If you hold it constantly for a while you might be lucky for it to get back up to speed but not always. Sometimes you have to wait until you go down a gear and then it will be grand again for a while . This happens 2 to 3 times in a 10 mile journey. Anyone have any ideas ? could this be the YPVS ? Thanks very much for your time, Dave

I hope someone may have a solution for a something that is more of a nuisance than a major problem. After the theft and recovery of my Cat I had to join the ignition switch wires back together. Subsequently I now find the bike will only start when the sidestand is raised even when she is in neutral. I have been told it is probably the starter cut off relay under the seat. In my other post I mentioned I am going to streetfight my bike and as I will probably strip her down completely to paint the frame and service the engine, I wondered if it is possible to modify the wiring so that it bypasses all the cutoffs and generally simplifys the wiring loom.

I have a Thundercat which I have owned for 4 years and am happy with the performance. The bodywork is pretty shabby and has had repair on top of repair so I have decided to go the Streetfighter route. I am a bit confused regarding the induction system as there seem to be differing views regarding the effect on performance, i.e flat spots etc if you just remove all the gubbins from the front of the bike. Can anyone clear up the question. can you just remove the chambers and tube work or will I have to alter the carb jets? Also I will go with a headlight nose cone or traditional headlamp can anyone suggest the best way to tidy up the wiring so it isn't exposed.
