Can anyone tell me the standard settings for front and rear suspension on a 95 yzf750 R please.

I have recently brought a 1999 Yamaha XJR 1300 but the tacho doesn't work and i need to buy a replacement. Does anyone know where i can buy new/second hand sets, or if not if i can use spurious individual versions. Jason

Anyone know or have a Speedo Drive for my bike as its completely fu(bleep)ed!! Tried the famous fleabay and nothing showing, and I aint paying £78 for a new one. Any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks YAMAHA YZF 750 R 1995/6

hi, all i have a problem you might be able to help me with?? i have a yzf750r on a 93, if i have been out and the bike is red hot, when i turn the engine off and try to start it up stright away it feels like the battery is flat and it wont start but if i leave it to cool down for a bit it fires up first time everytime!!! anyone got any ideas???? any help will be good thanks

Hi Ive bought a 10 year old DT125r and ive had nothing but problems and i was hoping to get some help on here? The previous owner has had it derestricted it had dep exhaust and thats about all i know of the bikes history it has 15000 miles on the clock. 1. i have blach gunk and blue smoke coming from the power valve caps on both sides (ive ordered now seals and o rings for this) 2. Its using a lot of fuel 3.The spark plug indicates over rich fuel/air mixture but the haynes manual doesnt tell me how to fix it 4. the bike is running very poor at low revs and speed i have to change gears very quick as it sputters it feels and sounds like it misfires when im around …

Hey all. When fitting new indicators, I checked the bulbs in the old ones and found one was 12v instead of 6v like it should be. They were working fine so how does that all work? DTGordo

Hi All, I am hoping someone can help with some idea's on a problem I am having. My YB100 (6volt) has been running perfectly for a year now. Last week I noticed when I turned the key on, the neutral and oil lights dimmed quite quickly. When the bike was running all appeared well, but I dont ride too far so it was hard to tell. Thinking I had a poor earth, I have cleaned and proved all of them. The battery is now dead( well damned close, 2.4v) it was new 7 months ago and not a cheapie either. I connected my multimeter and see that upon revving the engine the voltage rises with the revs to around 7.5v so I believe the charging circutary is working. But the problem is getting…

I'm a new member to this club & to biking! I last had a motorbike back in the 70's (Suzuki GT250) not an RD 250 Yam! I'm now in me 50's and the wife says I'm having a midlife crisis, but I've brought me-self a XJ900 Diversion S, on an 'M' plate. The fuel gauge does not work! I did notice on ebay when I was looking to buy, this was quite a common fault! Does anybody know what the problem is, so I can go straight to it, without dismantling the whole bike! Many thanks John

Hi all, Is there really no all-in-one spare parts shop in the uk? i need a few for my 97 xv535 including an rear exhaust joint pipe. i see the american dealerships offer ordering service for ALL spare parts for ALL yamaha bikes ever made, or thereabouts. please tell me there is something similar in the uk. i can only find a handful of common parts, e.g. from wemoto. thanks keli

Hi, Looking to replace the air cleaner housing and the inlet manifold rubbers on my Radian (YX600) - US import. I know it shares some parts with XJ, FZ and FJ 600 models, but not all. I have two specific questions: 1. I know the FZ600 air cleaner box/housing is different to my YX, but can anyone say whether an XJ-600 one is the same? 2. Inlet manifold tubes: Haynes manual indicates that the YX600 and FZ600 share the same carbs - so I'm hoping that means the inlet manifold tubes are shared between them as well? Can anyone confirm this? Both of the components described above are looking a bit knackered on my Radian - looking to replace them from UK if possibl…

i have a 1990 dt 125 r which i am restoring on the two stroke oil tank there is a grill that bolts to the bracket there is also two pins coming of the grill any ideas where it goes?

Hi all, Does anyone know if its possible to connect a mobile phone charger directly to the 12V 6A battery on my YBR125? Ive got the cigarette lighter for my phone, i was thinkin of striping it down and connecting wires to the + & - terminals on the cigarette lighter directly to the + & - terminals on the bike battery. Anyone know if this will work or will i need resisters or something? Cheers Chris

Hi guys, my w/shop manual says float height should be 17.5mm from gasket face to top of float, while sitting on the needle spring. Mine are about 24mm and the bike has been running fine. What should they be please.
