Hi Guys Brand new to here, so please be gentle. Ive just bought a 1992 Genesis 1000cc and wondering what easy upgrades/improvements I should make? Do the callipers from the R1 fit?.... im sure ive seen it done. I dont want to mess about with it too much, just a few subtle improvements where necessary. Cheers.

I have just bought a FZR 750 specifically for racing in forgotten era. Turns out that it is a Japanese import so is will be restricted. It is in very good original condition, including the exhaust with a genuine 6000 miles - it has not been tampered with. Runs perfectly but I will need to let get at the available power. Have an OW01 race fairing etc for it so I won't be butchering the original plastics. It is a lovely bike so I want to do this properly! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Can anyone out there help me? I have an XS650 with XS2 engine. I have replaced piston rings, valve stem oil seals and rebuilt the engine. It has Halco pipes and cone type air filters on it. When I start it it runs on left cyl only. When i rev it it fires on both but backfires on the right cyl and chuffs out smoke from the righ cyl. I have swapped coils, points HT leads and made sure the points gap and ignition timing is spot on, it also has new condensors. I have also replaced the plugs. When I wind the pilot scews out it gets better but not good. The carbs are clean and rubbers are sealed. HELP!

I have had a problem with the clutch cover leaking on my 1981 DT 100 so I thought I would do it right and take the cover off. I sealed the leaks coming from the actual aluminum case, now i just need to replace the oil seal around the kick start. I took it too a mechanic and he said it needs to be replace so how exactly should i go about removing it and replacing it? At first glance it seems pretty snug in its position and I don't want to damage the case. Also, where is the best place to buy a replacement part? Would my local motorcycle shop have to order one? I can get one for $6 on eBay so is that my best option? Also, how should i install the new seal to insure it doesn…

I want to swap the led indicators off the back of my bike, because the front ones are normal ones, and it means there's no flasher relay wired in, so the rear indicators are only bright if i'm revving. (not great at traffic lights) I don't really like the led lights, so I want to put normal indicators on the back. For some reason, original xj600 indicators on ebay are quite expensive: about £20 each. There are others (Which the sellers say will fit a yamaha). Does it matter which ones I get? For example I found some cheap xj900 ones, would there be any problem with putting them on my 600? Cheers

Hi, My 2007 YBR 125 I've owned from new has just packed up, it's been running fine since I bought it, but about 2 weeks ago, I went to start the bike, and after turning the ignition on, the usual 'whirring' of the fuel injectors priming sounded a bit weird and lasted only about half as long as it usually does. The starter motor still ran, but the engine would not fire and the engine management light flashes until the ignition is turned off. At the time, I simply turned the ignition off and then back on again and the bike started without problems. It happened once or twice more, and then I went to go out for a ride last weekend and it refused to start, even after sev…

Hey, Me again, bloody TZR is beginning to be a pain in the ass, this time I had been riding for around a minute and all of a sudden, my speedo just went down to 0 (it's digital) and then about 2 minutes later, it just choked up and died, I thought oh s**t it had better start up, and it did, I managed to get about the same distance and it cut out once more. Then I ran it on idle for a while at my house, went locally for a small ride, again about 2 minutes, I was rounding the corner to my house, and it did it again. Could this be something to do with the alarm? I'm almost certain it's something electrical. Thanks

Hi there. I own a 84 xj650. Very nice bike but I am having a problem starting this when it is cold out. Basically if I want to start it when the temp is below 10 C I have to heat the engine up and it will start no problem. If I dont warm it up it will just turn over and wont even try to fire. Once I have it running it runs like a top. Can anyone help me with this issue

Hi. I have a tzr 125 on a h plate (90) that is the uk model which as u proberly know dose not have the full ypvs unit n pully etc its pegged closed. i was told i could manually open the vave which i try`d with no joy due to the low bottom end take off (no joke stuck at 5 mph) unless i cud set off for a standing start then all hell broke lose. can i regulate it say a half or quarter open so it can be rode ? I was aslo offered a dt 125 ypvs complete kit (i know that the actual valve wont fit in the port) to large but can i get this to conect to my exsiting loom ? to run as normal ? or is it to much messin to derestrict cut my losses and sell n buy a derestricted model …
