Just got a 1998 FZS600 FAZER needs a bit of work but sound otherwise, need a rear caliper or kit anyone know if any other yamaha bikes have the same rear caliper fitted? While im on anybody got plastics for the 1998/1999 fazer especially the front headlight cowl Cheers Simon

I fitted new downpipes and silencers 4-2 to my bike last summer (pre ice age), the downpipes to silencer 'gaskets' were aftermarket and hence not worth a 'funkies muck', anyhoo, anyone out there know where I can get the old fashioned fire-proof 'rope' that used to be used on boilers and for packing fire doors etc, this stuff was white and I think was made of,,,,stuff

hey guys my bike is always flooded when i try starting it the carb seems to be blooded no matter how much manual chock i use it does help the engine to start up what could be causing this?

i was wondering how i would go about attaching instruments to my 01 yz250. i i was hoping to use the yamaha cable speedo instead of the digi type thing i keep seeing but i will go with whatever is available. if anyone has advice, i am willing to listen.

I'm very new to bikes and I have a ton of questions on how exactly everything works, but whats really getting me stumped is the electrical system. So here's my list and I know some of them are probably very obvious so bear with me. - What does a Magneto do? - Can my DT175 run without a battery? - Hmf guess that's about it

Right this might be an easy answer, but I aint sure... OH by the Way MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU!!!!......... Right I just fitted my rear led indicators on my yamaha, blink/flash rate is spot on Just that when I press left or right, both seem to flash at the same time. Do I need a bridge rectifier or something as someone mentioned this or another flasher relay If so where do either of these go. Thanks

I am currently looking for a Chain Guard for my bike but without the hugger (Silver preferably tried Puig) Also does anyone know if the rear lights on this bike could be replaced with aftermarket ones, if so could you let me know as these look terrible. Before I purchase a set of K&N Bolt on air filters for my bike, has anyone else seen any power or drop gains by doing this and is it worth it. Lastly, is there any hi level exhaust brackets for this bike. Thanks

I have just bought a fzr 1000 genesis with a kawasaki swing arm and monoshock-is this a good modification or should I convert it back?

I have a 2005 R6 Rossi rep. i bought it second hand from a "honda" dellership one year ago. when i got it they only gave me one black key. I new nothing about red keys and all that. well ive lost the only key i had and now they tell me i must get the entire locking seystem replaced. I have know idea about how much it cost?? i have been quoted $2300au for the parts alone. My question is are they ripping me of or is that about right. what is a good price for a lock set and ECU and do i have to replace the ECU at all?? Any advice would be highly appreciated

I have recently bought a 2003 Sr 125 8000 miles it runs great starts everytime & everything is solid but at about 50 mph + I am feeling a bit of vibration from grips & footrests , no knocks taps or rumbles so I just wondered if this was normal for this model thanks

Hi all, Happy New Year! Mid last year I got hold of a plastic enduro tank which had had a couple of holes/cracks plastic welded. They were leaking when I got it and I started patching with a soldering iron and bits of plastic. Looks to work well for two leaks but one has been a pest to stop. Anyone got any tricks of the trade that might help? Ta, Gordo

hi there all i have a serious problem i went outside this morning and somebody has attempted to steal my bike i found it laying on the floor 100 meteres down the road with the little silver bit off the ignition where you put the key in missing and now my key wont even fit into start it when i turn the bike also it stops when i turn it to the left i think the steering lock is broken can anybody please tell me if they have an ignition bit for the bike or a steering lock ive been told 2007 and 2008 models fit but i cant find any anywhere also does anybody no if other ignitions fit my bike any help would be much apprecciated john

Hey guys, This morning I was riding to work as usual, got about 5 miles from my house, when suddenly my bike lost power, looked down at the dash and there were no lights (all digital display), I managed to pull in and tried to start the bike, but I couldn't get anything out of it. I can't get the dash to even flash on for a second. I thought, must be a dead battery or alternator? Tried to use the foot crank, which made the headlight (or at least head light dash icon) flash up for a second, but wouldn't start at all.
