Hi Whats involved in fitting a kick start on my 2004 DT125RE ? Theres a plugged hole in the casing thats says "kick start" so I presume its possible to fit one? Would this be what I need? Would I need anything else other than the kick start itself?(oil seal,bearing,etc?) Thanks Richard

Gday all, just like to know if anyone knows if any of these igntion parts are interchangeable? Im still putting my ole dt 100 together and am down to a dodgy coil and possibly other ignition parts , magneto etc. These can be repaired here in Nth Queensland but may take quite some time and money. There is a 79 model 250 dt at a wreckers and was wondering if anyone knew if its worth getting? Regards Russell James

Hi all I have a Yamaha YZF 750 R bike but am wondering if a YZF R1 exhast and link pipe will fit. The R1 eexhaust is from a 2001 model and mine is a 1995/6 bike. The link pipe is the high rise one, which sweeps round the pedal (noob, so I think I am explaining it right) I needhelp asap as the person thats selling needs answer quickly. So does the link pipe fit mine at the bottom at bellypan??? Thanks

hey whats goin on i just picked up a 1979 yamaha xs 750 paid 1300 for it but it came with one problem after i rode it. i noticed that the bike is leaking oil outa the carb i dont know whats wrong with it it dosent spit oil outa the pipe or anything but please let me know whats up wit it if anyone is farmiliar with the bike

Hi can anyone please help i have 1990 xj600 roadster only bought the bike recently so i dont know the bikes history the bike didnt have a air filter and the filter housing was broke so i got new ones now its very difficult to start the bike and it seems to lack power best way to start it is to remove the seat and cover the airintake completely with ma hand then it seems to start ok but it rouns really rough untill running new plug made no difference it seems to run ok once heated although when pulling away if you give it too much throttle it seems to hesitate any advice is well apretiated cheers

Hi, I came to start my 2000 R6 this morning after not using it for a couple of weeks, i hit the starter button the bike fired up then cut out straight away i did it again and the same happened, then when i pressed the starter again a relay under the seat started clicking really fast almost buzzing, i think its the starter cut out relay that is buzzing. It sounds to me like the relay is busted Any one had this or got any ideas what it could be? Thanks Paul

Hi i got a problem with my xv it wont start from the button i have got a new battery on it i get sound you get when the battery is dead have taken the starter motor off and put power through it and it spins put it back on the bike and nothing anybody got ideas thanks in advance

i have a yamaha yzf- r125.. i am looking at ways that will make the bike faster, i am getting a 192cc big bore kit and a letachy full race pipe just after new year. is this going to make alot of differance? will it affect the liabitly of the engine as well?

Can any later model 600 cc owner(5 terminal regulator)tell me which wire goes where (Red and Black). A PO has butchered the connector off and fitted the wrong regulator!! Thanks PS posted in general to - sorry!

Hi All i resently got a scorpion exaust for my yzf r125 and fitted it over the weekend with my mate iv had a couple of rides out on it and it sound awsome but when i have taken it down the eastlacs for a rip it is only hitting 9000rpm in 6th gear i think it possibly wants to be remapped and went to quill exaust and asked them and they said it can't be done to yamaha's at all which has to be a crock because when i got a quote off quill for an exaust they said they would do everything to it including dyno and remapp. then i rang wigan yamaha and they said they dont belive it is possible too. im not looking for loads more bhp i just want it to run right is there anything …

Hello, I have a 2004 Yamaha SR 250. I have recently changed the oil and cleaned tappets and the engine sounds great and has a lot of power. When I start accelerating it is fine but when I accelerate fully the clutch slips and the bike sometimes misfires. Is this serious? Do the clutch plates need changing? Or is it just a matter of adjusting the clutch settings and if so, how do I do this? Any advice would be great as I am new to the bike. Thanks, Grant

i desperately need to find the correct carb for my 95 RXS 100, it has to be correct as there are many MIKINI VM carbs that are very similar!! could anyone help thanks philo

This bike is burning gearbox oil and throwing out alot of white smoke, I take it my crank oil seals are leaking ? Its not been long since I gave it a rebore cause i had some piston slap, how stupid of me not to have noticed oil burning b4 i put it back to-geather, I hardly ever use this bike anymore only for messin round on, Should I restrip it again to fix this problem r just keep toping up oil and put up with smoke ?? One more thing What else should i be checking in and arround the crankshaft if I open up engine this time ???

hey ive not bought my RXS100, its a beast!! now, yesterday it was running the best it has done for a while, then i ran out of petrol, switched over to the reserve tank, was still running fine, filled it up at the petrol station, switched it back over to the main tank and continued to ride home. then it started splutering and wouldnt rev atal although it would start and idle absolutly fine just as soon as i pulled the throttle the tiniest bit it would cut out. so i cleaned out the carb, found a little bit of muck but no varnish. even swilled out the exhaust a little bit with some petrol. got it running again, idles fine will now rev to 6k in neutral but when its riding …

Been given a set of oxford hot grips(new) and having read the fitting instructions the recommend fitting straight to the battery, I'm not sure about this, can they be fitted via the ignition? Thanks
