Hello Bikeriders, Since some weeks i got problems with my Radian. During my riding after about 10 miles the power increases suddenly. Its like the bike dont's gets fuel. I checked mij breather hose, the one from the tank, there was no obstruction. Air comes in to the tank(vacuum thing) .This was properly working, then i tride to have a ride with the tankfuelbutton open to see if this is the matter, but yesterday it happend again with -1 degrees below zero(with button open) Does the Radian has a tankfuelbutton that breaths? I know the thing of icing cabs it happens when its cold, but is this possible with the Radian. Are there of you guys who is recognize t…

Well I'll be....! Only had this bike a few months... MOTd etc.. and happy going along until suddenly the bike lurches forwards as if no fuel. Plenty fuel me thinks, so wha' the F....? Now I remeber the time when she would not start after I had switched the run switch off and on again. There was an electrical shrt (fizzing )sound when the switch would not engage as it should... contacts stuffed I guess. Anyway... On, Off, On, Off and then the switch engaged and she fired on the button again. Am I right to assume that the switch (if dodgy contacts) could be the culprit? This has happened twice now... Not so bad at 10mph, but at 110mph (as yesterday) I know... Woops! This …

I am assuming that the head is made of Aluminium on the Pre-Diversion XJ600f...? That said, three fins on the left side of the head (on mine) are snapped and generally buggered well and truly. I'd like to think there is a way of repairing these for cosmetic appearance alone... The damage makes no difference to the running of the engine... just looks pants on one side. I guess the previous owner didn't give a hoot, but I am a bit more fussy.. Mind you, I don't feel up to changing the head, so any suggestions would be appreciated.... Cheer Ears

Hey guys so I was just given this beautiful set of carbs from a friend, and I am trying to figure out what bike they came from. Their main jetting is 102.5, 32mm intake, Mikuni CV-style carbs. One side of the carb bodies says "Mikuni Corp" and the other says "MADE IN JAPAN" At first they looked to me to be the same as I had on my old GS850, but the guys on the Suzuki board think it may have come from an old Seca or a FJ1100 or something like that. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, heres the pictures http://www.flickr.com/photos/59644666@N04/5453945075/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/59644666@N04/5453943939/in/photostream/

Hey all; I know I am new here but REALLY need some help. I recently purchased a used 1997 Tour Deluxe xvz1300ltj. I fell in love with this bike on sight!! But; when I bought it 4th gear was out... perfect shifting 1-2-3... no fourth! (can't get to fifth) Well; I bought it anyway as a mechaninc fixed the problem for $150.00. Parts of course were only like $10.00! Well; after 400 miles and of course 2 hours from home....4th gear went out again.... Can anybody tell me what is going on??? The last owner put a "Barnett" (sp?) clutch in it thinking that was the problem. I have very positive shifting in all other gears....The bike runs like a top! What is …

YBR 125 (2010) Couple of quick questions ... gathered them together rather than littering the forum with a pile of small queries - hopefully that's ok. 1. Lights: I have read the pinned post re YBR lights and was wondering what the advice was if I didn’t want to make any significant permanent mod’s to the bike (still under warranty). Is it worth upgrading the lamps (bulbs) – saw xenon lamps in Halfords but not sure if they are worth it. 2. New bike mods: Any ‘no brainer’ mod’s I should make to the bike? It has engine bars which I think are an add on but not sure if there are any little tweaks I should make – will prob fit a top box for the helmet some time …

Hey everyone I am putting my Seca back together after a deer collision. So far just about everything is back except one thing..the speedo. I was wondering if anyone can give me some pointers here, The speedo seems to be "slow" never showing above 30mph...I checked the cable good...I picked up the instrusment cluster..nothing sounds loose...I put a 1500 rpm drill on the cable and spun it up and the speedo did the same thing got up to about 30mph and then thats it. Why I am wondering is, is it possible for the wheel assembly to go bad from a low side lay down? It seems awfully simply mechanical... anyone know any next steps before I go to the speedo shop? a…

Three days ago (just after I registered her in fact,) I was riding home when the bike just cut out - nothing dramatic, just coasted to a stop. I was at the top of a hill, so after a minute of just turning the engine over, fiddling with the fuel tap, spark plug and kick stand rolled down the hill, where it bumped fine and off I went. Then, the next day, it all happened again - just died as I was riding. Again, no symptoms other than the engine wasn't running - all other electrics were fine. I meandered to a stop, and fiddled around again, and after turning the starter for what seemed an age - she suddenly fired into life, and off I went... for 300m at whcih poin…

Hi everyone, Had my WR125 X 2011 for about a week and a half now. got 400 miles on the clock so just over halfway through the running in period. BUT... last night I started having some trouble with my gearbox, specifiaclly when changing down after coasting to a stop at traffic lights. The shifter would move down but no gears would change. I also noticed that the gears do seem quite clunky. Any ideas? Cheers
