I want to fit some pazzo levers to my MT-03! the brake lever is the same as other models so is not a problem but as yet they don't make a clutch lever to fit, I'm thinking that a cluth lever assembly off another model will fit and work with the relevent lever, has anyone done this??

Hi All, I have recently purchased a Yamaha Aerox 50 which is running fine but I was wanting to give it a bit more pull and help when it comes to hills. I believe it’s derestricted as it will do 40mph-50mph, I have changed the spark plug, replaced the air filter pad and I am going to change the transmission oil when I next get the time. I would really like to add a sports air filter but it seems that up jetting is required which I am unsure on??? Also I would like to fit a sports exhaust but I am unsure on what else may need adjusting when fitting one??? Any advice would be great??

I have a 70cc tuned yamaha aerox. Everything was running fine till few days back when i decided to take it in a shop nearby to have the spark plug changed. They called my and sad that they've putted a new plug and i thought that was it. My scooter worked just fine with the new spark plug when yesterday i was driving around 80kmh and i heard a bang so i pulled over...The spark plug was blown out but there wasnt much damage on it just a tiny dent on the bottom...so i guess the piston must have hit it couse when i compared it with the stock one it was much longer and i have no idea how they overlooked that...I've put my spare plug and my scooter is running fine once again but…

I was wondering if anyone knows a (simple?)way to get a wider rear tire for a 78 xs750 special. I would prefer to avoid any major welding but I am open to suggestions that would require it too. For those unfamiliar with this bike, it is a shaft drive so it's not just a simple matter of getting a wider rim and spacers for the sprocket/pulleys to get proper chain/belt alignment. So far I've come up with: 1. cutting apart the swingarm or a few swingarms and rewelding them to allow for a wider wheel 2. getting a swingarm for a different bike with a wider wheel and adapting my frame to take the swingarm. 3. converting it to chain or belt drive. Also, I am aware that th…

Hello, I'm hoping someone can shed some light and help me out a little. I have a 2000-01 Yamaha R6 , which starts ok-ish first time around on the choke however when it gets warm or go to ride off it cuts out. It'll not start again without the choke being on , but even when hot or cold will not ride , just sounds like its going to stall then actually does. Any advise or information would be great , thankyou.

Just a query really, I'm not sure if this is normal or not. On the move, my coolant temperature sits between 70 and 80 (celsius). On colder days it can dip into the 60s. Stationary it will get up to just over 100 after a few minutes. I thought this was quite a swing, although it's my first bike so I don't know what's normal.... I'm just used to cars which sit bang on 90 all day long. So.. normal or not?

Hi to you all, Great looking forum, please do not ban me but i am a Kawasaki (sorry about swearing) man at heart but have just got my son a XT125x for his 17th birthday, it starts and seems to run ok but the seller told me that when it warms up it starts to smoke alot, i do not want to cause any damage by running it so what could it be and what should i be looking for. It has 8ooo miles on the clock. If it helps my 1st big bike was a RD250c in 1976 from Granby motors, (i wonder if that is still out there, RAU 65R)then a RD400c which i had beckett tuned by a local hero Terry Beckett.

Hey, Hate joining a forum with a question - But I got my first Yamaha today (2005 XT125 R) as my first roadbike on CBT (sigh) Anyway, never seen this before but the electric start only works when the bike is in neutral... Is this normal? Even if I pull the clutch in it doesn't even try :S It kick starts fine with the clutch in, but its handy to be able to start in any gear in those embarrassing moments at the lights without trying to find neutral! Cheers
